It includes the New York City region of New York State, as well as New Jersey and Pennsylvania. It is commonly considered to be the strongest Brawl region in North America, home to some of the world's best players, and also has a strong Melee scene. Local tournaments are frequently held here, and the region has hosted many national tournaments, such as the Apex tournament series. Many Brawl players consider the local tournaments to be more difficult than the nationals, and the region has become somewhat infamous for this.
