Pikachu (ピカチュウ, Pikachū) will be a playable character in Super Smash Bros. 4.
Confirmed information
- Pikachu's appearance has been updated to match the newest Pokémon games such as PokéPark Wii: Pikachu's Adventure; its model has been altered, and continues the trend of being gradually less chubby with each additional appearance.
- Pikachu can still crawl.
- Skull Bash and Thunder appear unchanged.
Trivia:
- Pikachu's SSB4 artwork has him striking the same pose in his artwork from the original SSB, except that the latter has him leaning slightly, while the former has him standing up straight.
