Domo is a Japanese smasher and is widely considered Japan's best Ice Climbers player[citation needed]. Video footage of his performances have been difficult to find, but western Climber enthusiasts agree that no other player out of Japan has shown a comparable level of aptitude[citation needed].
Style of Play
Domo plays a desync-oriented game with a polished technique. Unlike famous Ice Climber main Chu Dat, Domo relies very little on chaingrabbing tactics and instead explores the variety of approaches offered by Popo and Nana behaving independently.
Certain elements of Domo's desynchronization mastery, such as the advancing short hop desynched ice blocks, would ultimately contribute to a deeper exploration of the potential continous desync in the 2006 Canadian tutorial video, Two Climbers, Two Hands.
Though unconfirmed by the community at large, a video of famous Yoshi player Fumi against an unnamed Ice Climbers players is suspected to be Domo. He typically plays in the green Popo costume.
