Palutena is Pit's Goddess. She comes from the Kid Icarus games. In Super Smash Bros. Brawl she appears in the Subspace Emissary giving Pit his bow and allowing him to go on his adventure. She also appears when Pit performs his final smash: Palutena's Army.
She rules Skyworld and all the fairies and centurions. In the first game Palutena was trapped by Medusa, and Pit had to find special items to defeat her. Depending on how good you play in that game, Palutena would give you a kiss or simply say thank you.
