The battleship doesn't appear until late in the subspace emissary after Ganondorf has all of the remaining subspace bombs detonated in one space, creating an area of subspace large enough for the battleship to move through. Bowser and Ganondorf tests the weapon's power by firing a beam into an ocean. However, the Halberd appears, trying to attack the ship. The Halberd is initially able to avoid the laser cannons on the battleship, but one of the shots manages to connect which rips clear the Halberd and causes it split into when falling. However, fighters fly out of the Halberd's wreckage and continue the battle. Kirby suddenly appears and rams through the battleship with his Dragoon, destroying it.
