The Skill parameter has been removed from Smasher infoboxes, and in its place are the new "Best historical ranking" and "Best tournament result" parameters. SmashWiki needs help adding these new parameters to Smasher infoboxes, refer to the guidelines here for what should be included in these new parameters. |
When adding results to Smasher pages, include each tournament's entrant number in addition to the player's placement, and use the {{Trn}} template with the matching game specified. Please also fix old results on Smasher pages that do not abide to this standard. Refer to our Smasher article guidelines to see how results tables should be formatted. |
Check out our project page for ongoing projects that SmashWiki needs help with. |

Trivia[edit]
- Similarly to Classics! in PAL regions (known as "Now You're Playing With Spirit Power!"), the event's title references the Game Boy's slogan used by American commercials, "Now you're playing with portable power!", which was a modified version of the Nintendo Entertainment System's slogan, "Now you're playing with power!".
- The event's description references "Play It Loud!", a slogan used by a series of more edgy and often grotesque US advertisements aimed at a teen audience released late in the Game Boy and Super Nintendo Entertainment System's lifespans between 1994 and 1996.
- Meanwhile, the Japanese title of the event references the phrase said in the first commercial for the Game Boy itself.
- The Spanish PAL version of the Spirit event references the lyrics of a rap song sung in a Spanish commercial for the Game Boy.
- Both French versions reference a French localization of a UK Game Boy commercial.
- The Spanish NTSC version references the Mexican localized version of the Game Boy Color's US slogan, "Get into it".
- In contrast to other Spirit Board events based on a specific console (such as Classics! and Get N or Get Out), the majority of spirits included in this event use artwork that are not used for Game Boy games. Of the 33 spirits included in the event, only 12 of them use artwork originally used for a Game Boy game.
