DELTA 7 [FAT] or DELTA 7 [First Anniversary Tournament] was a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate major held in Ota, Tokyo, Japan, on December 23rd, 2023. It was the last Ultimate major for 2023 and the first for the LumiRank 2024.1 ranking season.
Tournament summary[edit]
This tournament is known for being TamaPDaifuku's breakout performance. Although he had several good wins over some of Japan's best players before like Asimo, Yaura or Tea, he hasn't made top 8 at a major yet. As the twentieth seed, he lost to #4 Asimo in winner's top 32 1-3. Dropping to the loser's, TamaP will go on a 8-set long loser's run, defeating some of Japan's best players and scoring the biggest upsets of the tournament.
