He was considered the best {{SSBU|Hero}} player in the Midwest prior to dropping the character. Gomakenpi was formerly ranked 10th on the [[Michigan Power Rankings#Super Smash Bros. Ultimate|Michigan Ultimate Power Rankings]], and has defeated players such as {{Sm|Cosmos}}, {{Sm|Big D}}, {{Sm|Ned}}, {{Sm|yeti}}, {{Sm|Mistake}}, {{Sm|Z|p=Canada}}, {{Sm|smasher1001}}, and {{Sm|Bonren}}.
