I started playing Smash when I was 8 years old, where at the time I only had my Wii and a few games to play with. Until one day at a yard sale I saw a copy of ''[[Super Smash Bros. Melee]]'', two Wavebird Controllers (I eventually got Wired Controllers), and a Memory Card. Ever since that day I knew that the series would be with me for a very long time.

Im a very dedicated [[Meta Knight]] player because of my childhood experiences with The ''Kirby Series'', and will probably continue to play him no matter what Buff, Nerf, controversy, Tier list, or player opinion. Some of my friends who've played against Vancouver's top players like {{Sm|BigD}} and {{Sm|Firefly}}, and are of even skill of me, even consider me the best ''Smash 4'' {{SSB4|Meta Knight}} player in Vancouver, mainly for these reasons:
*At [http://www.vancouverconventioncentre.com/events/anime-revolution-2015 Anime Revolution 2015], I was the highest placing {{Head|Meta Knight|g=SSB4|s=20px}} at the tournament (13th).
*I won [http://www.animeevolution.com/6776-2/ Vancouver Anime Evolution Akimatsuri 2015] without losing a single game.
*At [https://www.facebook.com/events/974776132611840/ Vancouver Battle Royal #2], many players considered it.
*At [http://www.animerevolution.ca/winter-event/ Anime Revolution Winter 2016], I was the highest ranking {{Head|Meta Knight|g=SSB4|s=20px}} at the tournament (17th), and took at least 2 stocks from {{Sm|FoCus}} when we fought (who got 2nd at the tournament).








==General things about me==
*I once participated in a ''Project M 3.02'' Doubles Tournament with my partner, won our first set, then after that someone came-up to us and said "you were fighting the wrong team". We then played the team we were suppose to fight, but my friend's {{Head|Link|g=SSBB|s=20px}} got the $#!% beaten out of him, leaving my {{Head|Meta Knight|g=SSBB|s=20px}} alone, which resulted in our loss. BUT THEN the same guy told us that we WERE fighting the right team, but couldn't do anything about it because of complications on the bracket and because it was already near the end of the tournament, making us only place 7th out of 11 teams! (And I drank a lot of Orange Crush for nothing!)
*I once BARELY survived beating a team 1 vs 2 as {{Head|Marth|g=SSBM|s=20px}} in ''Melee'', with me having one stock and my opponents with FOUR!!! (Which is ironic going back to that ''Project M'' doubles incident I had with my short-lived partner.)
*I won an entire local ''Melee'' tournament solely using {{Head|Marth|g=SSBM|s=20px}} (don't remember when though).
*I once experienced a glitch in ''Project M 3.02'' with my friend in Boss Battles Mode, where my friend ''AuraSoul'''s {{Head|Mewtwo|g=PM|s=20px}} started out immensely tiny for some reason and stayed like that until he died. Unfortunately this only happened once and I didn't record any video prof (wish I did).
*I once Ken Combo'd someone in a ''Melee'' tournament, WITH {{Head|Roy|g=SSBM|s=20px}}!!!
*I got a Marth Amiibo on the day it came out.
*I have been to ''Nintendo of Canada'''s building (because it is located in my hometown).

*I unlocked all the characters in ''Smash Wii U'' in a day without running of the stage 100 times in vs. mode like a dumbass just to get it over with.
*I Got ''Kirby Triple Deluxe'' one day before it officially came out in North America, and NO it is not a Japanese copy (Strangely I found it in a ''Real Canadian SuperStore'' of all places?)
*I met the voice of Mario, ''Charles Martinet'' at a Retro Gaming Expo in New Westminster.

But, as time went on, all of that changed for the better. After LEO's win against Mr.R at Smash Factor 4, I knew... "Meta Knight's back to his former glory!" Ever since then, I've gotten decent results in tournament with his and he has become the character I am most recognized with around the players, and is my favorite incarnation of Meta Knight to play as.]]

==Meta Knight's funeral (Strawpolls)==
As most of you probably know by now, {{SSB4|Meta Knight}} was ''sadly'' nerfed in the recent 1.1.5 patch. The nerf was to his up aerial; a move infamously known for it's ability to combo into itself multiple times to a [[Shuttle Loop]] finisher. That has been somewhat changed, as the angle at which the up air sends you has changed: from 78° to 69°, making it harder to follow-up into itself. And while "Yes, the combo is still defiantly possible" think about what happened to {{SSB4|Luigi}}'s down throw; the character went from: "Top 3" to "barely making it in Nationals". So here I have posted "Strawpolls'' all based on Meta Knight.

Hi, I'm Ken, but I go by MetaKing online.

I basically never contribute to this wiki now because of life and not having much else of value to add here, so this page is kind of dead too. Nothing bitter by all means, just don't have the time or feel invested to do things frequently around here now. Only contributions from here on will probably be either Project M/+, frame data, or BC Smash-related on the rare occasion, dunno.
