An easy way to turn a Ticken into a trophy is to use your [[Trophy Stand]] when it is at low health, from a distance, because it has no projectiles and a slow movement speed. If you go too far, the Ticken will break apart. Tickens are also very resistant to both projectiles and fire.

==Trivia==
*The Ticken is probably a reference to enemies in some of the Sonic the Hedgehog games. When some of the enemies were defeated, an animal comes out. The same goes for this enemy.
*The Ticken enemy is similar to enemies found in the ''Sonic'' series. Both feature a robot-like animal being broken in order to release a small, real animal inside.

A Ticken (テキン, Tekin) is an enemy in the Subspace Emissary and first appears in The Plain. It looks like a giant, metallic chicken, though upon defeat, its "body" falls apart and reveals that a yellow bird was piloting the Ticken. The bird chirps, then flies away. The Ticken has two attacks, one where it flies into the air and then attacks with an attack similar to the Bowser or Yoshi Bomb, which can bury, and another where it extends its spikes and rams the player. Due to their defeat animation having their body fall apart, Tickens cannot be subjected to careening.
