Template:Character Sonic the Hedgehog (ソニㇱク, Sonikku) is a character from SEGA that has been confirmed to appear in Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
Special Moves
- Standard Special Move: Homing Attack
- Side Special Move: Sonic Boom
- Up Special Move: Bounce Jump
- Down Special Move: Sonic Flame
- Final Smash: Super Sonic
As of now, none of Sonic's Special Moves have been officially revealed; but in a trailer entitled "Sonic the Hedgehog Joins the Brawl!", he can be seen doing a spin dash and bouncing off one of the Sonic games' iconic springs, both of which could prove to be Special Moves. He has been seen running with a dashing speed that appears to rival, if not dwarf, that of Captain Falcon's in Melee. Also, Sonic is seen later in Nintendo's Fall 2007 Conference Trailer, channeling the power of the Chaos Emeralds and transforming into Super Sonic, possibly his Final Smash.
