Universe | Super Smash Bros. |
Exploding Side Kick (爆裂サイドキック, Exploding Sidekick) is one of the three neutral specials usable by Mii Brawlers.
Overview[edit]
The Brawler charges up briefly before performing, as the name implies, a powerful flaming sidekick which is strong enough to KO at very low percentages. It operates much like the Falcon Punch, including its ability to be reversed, however, it is comparatively quicker. The Mii Brawler gains super armor several frames before the kick, which lasts until after the attack's hitbox appears, allowing them to plow through attacks. However, this move is weaker when used in the air.
In Ultimate, the move deals more damage while reversed, whether on the ground or in the air. The Brawler is also given much more flexibility in terms of when they are able to change directions. Additionally, the move's endlag has been reduced, making it far safer against shields.
