:Agreed, I think most of the info on this page can be summarized in a few sentences, and the rest on the community page. '''[[User:Ac2k|Awesome]] [[User talk:Ac2k|Cardinal 2000]]''' 13:10, October 30, 2023 (EDT)
:I agree with this as well. Basically make the " Community Vs. Nintendo" subsection into its own section. :'''Support''': Most of the stuff written in that section is better suited there because it's just a history lesson of the community's relationship with Nintendo, rather than relating to the guidelines itself. :Yeah, I agree. The section has moved quite out of scope - it was initially just meant to focus on the fighting games in the wider FGC receiving tournament community guidelines themselves. ::I see. I was focused on what was in the incomplete tag so I ended up going over the factors that led to the controversy, not just the relationship with the FGC. Splitting information[edit]

We could put most of it on the community page, with a section titled "relationship with Nintendo" or something like that. Heck, even Wikipedia's own page on competitive Smash has a "relationship with Nintendo" section. - EndGenuity (talk) 12:53, October 30, 2023 (EDT)

Support: Most of the stuff written in that section is better suited there because it's just a history lesson of the community's relationship with Nintendo, rather than relating to the guidelines itself. A brief summary of past events though should still be kept to provide more context for why the guidelines were met with division. For my signature. Ultimate Toad, the Toad Warrior.
