The Scuffed World Tour is an upcoming Super Smash Bros. Melee and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate tournament intended to serve as a replacement for the cancelled Smash World Tour 2022 Championships. It will be hosted by Ludwig on December 18th, 2022. The 8 players with the most points on the Smash World Tour 2022 standings for both games will be invited; if one can't attend, the player with the next highest points will be invited. Ludwig is also adding "8 more players that we handpick for each game"[1] for a total of 16 players per game.[2] The 1 player with the highest amount of points in a Smash World Tour 2022 region in the overall Top 30 of the leaderboards will be invited if not already qualified.[3] There will be a pot prize of $50,000 ($25,000 for each game). The tournament will raise money for VGBootCamp, who lost hundreds of thousands of dollars due to the cancellation of the Smash World Tour 2022 Championships,[4] and had to cancel major tournaments Glitch: Duel of Fates and Double Down 2023 in the process.[5]
