Hello. This is regarding MemeDedede removing my entry on the Ike notable results page. I just wanted to let you know a few things.

1) He consulted with the Ike Discord rather than: Georgia TOs and PR players, people who keep track of tournament results, and other less-biased sources. He contacted a Discord of players who have a strong distaste for me. Naturally, this was a biased attempt to smear my results.

2) Unfortunately, anyone who isn't Ravenking or Yez in that Discord isn't even listed on the Ike notable players. That's because they choose to bring me up regularly instead of practicing the game and earning results.

Summary: MemeDedede's analysis (especially where he says "and I agree") isn't credible information. He used a group of biased players from a Discord where a tiny handful of the pioneers of the Ike meta rarely, if ever, visit. I'm 100% confident in my results locally, regionally, and even in majors like CEO. My own results speak for themselves and I would appreciate less-biased wiki users editing the Ike page in the future.

I cannot participate in offline tournaments until the pandemic ends and I'm able to travel. Furthermore, as with many offline players, I do not participate in online tournaments which should not negatively affect one's results as a player. I hope you will take this into consideration so this doesn't get out of hand.

As I've stated on your talk page (you should have replied over there by the way), there is a conflict of interest present in your actions. As such, you should not be adding such a mention yourself without first discussing the matter extensively on a talk page and have a consensus be reached in your favour. You will not be granted special treatment just because you yourself are the article subject - everybody on this wiki is subject to the exact same rules as everyone else. Well, considering I've consistently taken Top 8 in my state results, been PR #9, and only went to Honorable Mentions solely because I live 2 hrs away and can only travel to Atlanta once a month, I'm still a notable Ike player. I'm also the best Ike main in Georgia.

Placing Top 8 at GA monthlies isn't paltry. But I don't think you seem to get it. I'm one of the region's best players with the character bar-none. My name has remained on the page for years until someone took cues from a biased Discord of players who dislike me, not regarding my results. Addendum: "I talked with some Ikecord members and absolutely nobody thought rango should be on the notable players list, and I agree with the assessment" is not a credible reason to remove my entry. You need to stop edit warring. While you were once not disputed to be notable, it is now being disputed. Perhaps you are right, you do deserve to be on the Ike list, however, you alone don't get to decide that. Now that a dispute has been raised, you cannot say you still belong there until we have discussed the matter, and you have waited an appropriate amount of time for people to refute or confirm it. These "notable players" sections are getting overhauled and the standards made significantly stricter anyway, as agreed on here (the proposal is getting passed whenever I get around to officially initiating it, which could be tonight). Individual players in these sections shouldn't be getting removed until the proposal is official and these sections are all truncated down, so MemeDedede and Vulpine specifically targeting Rango now before these list are truncated is questionable. That said Rango, you being in this section "for years" is irrelevant when they got so overbloated well beyond their original intended scope, lots of players have been on "for years" that shouldn't have been in these sections, and there's a blatant conflict of interest here with trying to force yourself onto this section. Whatever is decided for Ike's page after the mass purge, if it's decided you're to be removed from here and you try adding yourself back without reaching consensus on the talkpage (and try doing the same to the Terry section again even after you were removed weeks ago), you will get blocked for edit warring. Knowing the past problems people had with you, I think there may be some legitimate claim to others being biased against recognizing your achievements, but edit warring here is absolutely not the way to go about it. I'm still not happy with Rango being on the list but I'm going to talk about it here rather than edit war further. You told me on Discord that you were investigating the matter and would likely be removing it yourself under the new rules (which still haven't been passed by the way despite what you said, lol). About ikes up smash

Are you sure it deals very high damage, 23.8% is merely average as a lot of up smashes do that exact same damage, with quite a few dealing higher damage, including, ironically, Lucina’s. MetaKnightX6 (talk) 12:43, June 16, 2021 (EDT)
