Pause controversy
At the end of the winner's quarter-finals set between Maister and Sonix, Sonix accidentally paused during the fourth game. Although Sonix had to forfeit a stock, he would still win the game, and subsequently the set. Following the match, the legitimacy of the set was questioned; some believed the pause killed Maister's momentum and thus decreased his chances of winning, while others argued that the stock forfeit didn't change the match outcome as Maister was already at a high percent and on his last stock. Nevertheless, players wondered why pausing was not turned off, as tournaments tend to disable pausing.
