Ryuga is a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Ike player from Michigan, considered the best solo Ike player in the world after MkLeo dropped the character. Ryuga was formerly ranked 33rd on the Spring 2019 PGRU and has defeated MVD, Salem, Goblin, and Captain L.
In Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, Ryuga was a Corrin main. considered one of the best Corrin players in the world (along with Cosmos, Zackray, and MkLeo). Before he dropped the character, he was widely regarded as one of the best Ike players in the world. Ryuga has wins over top players such as Cosmos, CaptainZack, Fatality, Larry Lurr, Zinoto, Ally, Ned, Darkshad, Sinji, Locus, and False. On SmashBoards, he goes by Planet God Venus. Ryuga is currently ranked 6th on the Midwest Smash 4 Power Rankings and 86th on the Panda Global Rankings 100, and was formerly ranked 3rd on the Michigan Power Rankings.
His static partner in doubles is Salem, who are considered to be one of the best doubles teams in the world. The two have achieved strong results together, such as 3rd at UGC Smash Open, and 2nd at both Frostbite 2017 and DreamHack Atlanta 2017. They have taken sets off of teams such as ZeRo and Nairo, VoiD and NAKAT, and Abadango and kameme.
Ryuga joined team ZENMA on August 15th, 2019, along with many other smashers. Approximately two weeks later, on August 29th, 2019, Ryuga, along with many of the other smashers signed by team ZENMA, announced that he was leaving the organization due to controversies with its CEO, false[1].
He was picked up by Renegades on September 25th[2].
