Attack of the Tetriminos! (テトリミノ来襲！ TETRIS SMASH, Tetrimino Invasion! TETRIS SMASH) was a Spirit Board event focused on spirits from the Tetris series, which featured Tetriminos as spirits. It ran from 6 a.m on October 25, 2019 to 6 a.m. on October 30, 2019 (UTC). During the event, defeating spirits on the Spirit Board which were part of the event awarded more Gold than usual.
Description
- Five new spirits from TETRIS 99 will descend ominously to the Spirit Board!
- Defeat them in battle to earn more gold than usual.
- Tetris® and the Tetrimino shapes are trademarks of Tetris Holding, used with permission.[1]

Trivia
- The correct plural of tetromino in a mathematical context is "tetrominoes", but the Tetris franchise refers to them as "tetriminos" instead, making the event's title grammatically incorrect but correct in relation to the Tetris universe.
- Attack of the Tetriminos! is the first Spirit Board event released after the version 4.0.0 update to be followed by another Spirit Board event rather than an Event Tourney.
- Attack of the Tetriminos! is the first Spirit Board event based on a non-playable universe to come with more than 4 new spirits.
