Blastoise (カメックス, Kamekkusu, Kamex in original Japanese language versions) is a Pokémon that comes out of a Poké Ball.
- Attack (SSB): Blastoise uses Hydro Pump as its attack. Blastoise shoots blasts of water from his cannon on his back.
- Attack (SSBM): Blastoise attack is the same attack as in SBB. Blastoise shoots blasts of water from the cannons on his back. The only difference is Blastoise recoils from the blast of water and starts moving towards the side of the stage.
- Any character that makes contact with the blasts of water will take damage.
- Any character who makes contact with Blastoise also will take damage.
- Blastoise's water blast forces character's to the side of the screen. Blastoise is useful when guarding the edge.
- Blastoise will fall of the edge if he is not finish using his attack.
- The summoner is not harmed by Blastoise's attack.
