:The next all new Smash title is confirmed, being Super Smash Bros. Rebooted. It is a radical departure for the series, being a hybrid of an MMO and MOBA. Toby Fox directed the game (with Sakurai instead providing soundtrack vocals in the style of King Dedede) and cut most of the roster from previous titles, instead opting to include characters from his game, Undertale, alongside Humongous Entertainment characters and his Sonic OCs. However, Captain Falcon, the 8 Fire Emblem characters, and Lemmy Koopa are set to return. The game will release for Nintendo 3DS in 2022.
