Cyndaquil (ヒノアラシ, Hinoarashi in Japanese language versions) is a fictional creature in the Pokémon media franchise.

Creature desctiption

Cyndaquil is one of the three starting Pokémon in Pokémon Silver, Gold, and Crystal versions (the others being Totodile and Chikorita). It is a fire type, and its final evolution is Typholosion in the Pokémon games.

In Super Smash Bros. Melee

As a Poké Ball Pokémon

Cyndaquil will hop into the air and use Ember. Fire will be coming out of Cyndaquil's back. Anyone that is caught in the attacks radius will take damage. Ember has a small attack radius so it is easy to avoid. Cyndaquil can be KO'd by any character. If he is attacked constantly by other characters(including the summoner) or items, then he will be knocked off the stage. Nothing is rewarded for KO'ing Cyndaquil. Cyndaquil's attack does not harm the summoner.

As a trophy

Cyndaquil features as a collectible trophy, unlocked as one of the 100+ trophies that can be collected randomly during normal play, such as in the Trophy Lottery and throughout the various Single-player Regular Matches. It reads as follows:
