Piranha Plant puts the opponent in its mouth, then bites their rear upward. Piranha Plant's best kill throw, and also doing the highest amount of damage at 12%. The collateral hitbox has no effect on the thrown opponent, only on others. Without rage, it typically kills midweights at ~150%, however with rage, it can kill at ~130%, making it especially strong as a comeback move. Combined with the fact that Piranha Plant's grabs are among the fastest in the game and neutral aerial's multihits are able to confirm into a grab, this makes up throw one of Piranha Plant's most common killing options. At very low percents, while it cannot combo, using Ptooie afterwards can be a way to scout the opponent's escape options, and Ptooie can still end up catching escape options due to its hitbox and throws. | |||
