RagingCherry or Cherry is a smasher from Florida who is one of the most well known tournament directors, running events such as Smash the Record 2014, Smash the Record 2015, Paragon Orlando 2015, Paragon Los Angeles 2015, and CEO 2014. He currently resides in Southern California, where he does not currently host events on a regular basis anymore. Since moving, he has been an adviser of Gaming Knights when it comes to some of the Florida events. Formerly a Call of Duty and Halo player, Cherry found his way to the Smash Community in 2012 when he hosted a small gaming event at his school, the University of Central Florida (UCF). Cherry was approached by Colbol to host Melee at his event, which ended up bringing over 100 people on the first try. Cherry instantly loved the Smash Community, and has not looked back since joining.

Biography

Tag Origin

Cherry is pulled from his last name "Chiricosta" (which many people pronounced 'Cherrycosta'). One day while playing FIFA on Xbox Live, he was getting really frustrated over lag, which his roommate walked in to say "Yo...stop raging, Cherry!" Though his tag is officially RagingCherry, he prefers to go by Cherry.
