Creating Smasher pages[edit]

I'm sorry if I sound confused because I'm new here, but if it possible for me to create pages for Smashes, how would I get permission? If I can't, that's fine. Iridium77 (talk) 16:47, 27 March 2018 (EDT)

I meant to say Smasher. Iridium77 (talk) 16:50, 27 March 2018 (EDT)

In order to create pages, you'll need to be autoconfirmed, which requires you to have been a member for 7 days and made 10 edits. Then you can create a new page using the "create new article" box on the main page. Alex Parpotta the flying lobster! 16:52, 27 March 2018 (EDT)

Okay, so all I have to do is stick around long enough? Thanks for responding. Iridium77 (talk) 19:09, 27 March 2018 (EDT)

Yes, you also need to make at least ten edits as explained before (this shouldn't be a problem). Awesome Cardinal 2000 20:33, 27 March 2018 (EDT)

Here's where it stands[edit]

You have 3 administrators telling you that you need to make some behavioral changes on this site. Failure to do so will result in a month's block, this is your final warning. Serpent SKSig.png King 16:20, 1 April 2018 (EDT)

So you're still not going to address the whole misusing rollback thing? Awesome Cardinal 2000 16:24, 1 April 2018 (EDT)
I've addressed it and repeated myself several times and you still aren't getting it. You clearly aren't interested in listening to us here so this is what it has come to. Serpent SKSig.png King 16:26, 1 April 2018 (EDT)

That comment wasn't supposed to be directed at anyone in particular. Awesome Cardinal 2000 16:34, 1 April 2018 (EDT)
As it currently stands, there is no need to change the rollback policy, because as I have explained multiple times, rollback is to be used for bad faith edits, and deliberate refusal to obey an admin's instructions is bad faith. In fact, insubordination is a blockable offense on any wiki. Alex the Jigglypuff trainer 17:27, 1 April 2018 (EDT)

Spirit of the rule[edit]

"If there is any doubt about whether an edit should be rolled back, do not use this feature." How can you justify misuse of rollback as "spirit of the rule" when there is a line in SmashWiki:Rollback that clearly says otherwise? Awesome Cardinal 2000 16:53, 1 April 2018 (EDT)

The spirit of rollback is to easily and quickly get rid of bad edits. The letter of the rule is that it should be limited to obvious vandalism only. As with any rule on the wiki, bending it is probably okay as long as most people agree it's the right move in context.
That is all that will be said for now. At least seven different users are tired of dealing with your inflexible, can't-let-it-go mentality on the subject. Kindly adjust your attitude by the time you return next month. Toomai Glittershine ??? The Jiggy 17:02, 1 April 2018 (EDT)
