I guess it was convenient that there happened to be an unused icon for Active RfBs, but I meant for you to move Active RfAs to Active Requests for Rights, because it is awkward to have an RfB in an RfA category. I can. However, I wanted to a) check with the person who had made that block, and b) check that it was desirable. The complication is that we'd essentially have to widen the net of IPs that are blocked, which increases the chances of blocking legitimate users beyond the vandal. The current range blocks are /20, which blocks a total of 4096 IPs (2 to the power of [32 minus the number]). This is generally the point at which I personally say "this is good enough"; every increase of the range number by 1 doubles the amount of blocked IPs. The default MediaWiki limit is /16 (65,536 IPs), which basically means "the first two numbers of the IP address are the same, who cares about the second two". Is this partly because I do the mass editing that clutters up RC? Yeah, but this is the only time I can do it between classes (yes, I have school today). Bot edits would be good, a sure fire way to prevent slip ups, for the start at least, is that all trophies and head icons are always screenshots, because file rips fall under the "vanilla or hacked" statement. I can answer the question with a question: Is it a given that all of tag Q should turn into tag K? Can we assume that ~95% of the old fair use tag should be converted into the new screenshot tag? Because XL does either all or nothing, no questions asked; if it's not mostly a complete conversion, it'll make more of a mess than it solves. More stuff XL can do.

While I am looking on the Internet so that I have a rudimentary knowledge of the Final Fantasy series, here is some stuff you can tell XL to do. Template changeovers for Trophies for brawl and Smash 4 (I did Melee yesterday), and all the head icons. That should keep them busy. DekZek 10:10, 13 November 2015 (EST)

The extracted images could be a problem: XL was the one who uploaded most of them to start with, and he could never figure out how to select a license in the first place, so they're all currently template-less. And you can't replace "nothing" with "something". So something else might need to be done (either I figure out how to make it add something instead of replacing, or someone else will have to do it manually). The existance of Ryu has ruined my decade-old system of keeping all my Smash Bros. stuff on this computer organized; I'm only now close to a complete replacement (this is also a not-insignificant part of why I've been absent lately, that and finally getting Xenoblade). If people are really that desperate for a new SA round (which you can blame Nintendo for the lack of, for refusing to accept that SSB4 is a finished game and therefore keeing the wiki's workload high), then I'll see what I can do about lowering the quality bar and starting regular rounds again this Friday.
