In early 2016, Syrox attended GENESIS 3 and finished 65th after beating Animal, Aza and Hamyojo. He took a game from PewPewU before being eliminated by Chillin.
He had a remarkable performance at Rewired 2016, beating Gahtzu and Forward and taking Axe to game 5 before finishing at 3rd place.
In December 2016, Syrox finished the year strong with another amazing run at Eden, taking sets off DJ Nintendo, Ginger, Colbol, and S2J before losing to Ice in losers quarters 2 - 3.
