Hi[edit]

What exactly are you doing with the Maine Power Rankings page? You've removed quite a bit of content and I don't want to jump to conclusions. Serpent King (talk) 03:34, 20 August 2015 (EDT)

Darc didn't even live in Maine in May of 2015, and he was ranked 1st in both PM and Melee for May 2015. The Maine scene is very young, a year ago there were basically no tournaments. Recently, however, after Maine Competitive Gaming's first monthly, there have been lots of locals popping up. Many new players are coming out of the blue, so the rankings are changing a lot. Zombiehn had only played wifi and gone to a couple nationals before going to Summer Special Tournament BBQ and nearly defeating Dazwa who is undefeated by any Mainer in Smash 4. The scene is growing and changing so fast it's just hard to see who is ranked where, in my opinion the people who decide the rankings should be the Maine Competitive Gaming tournament organizers or Dazwa, because he plays multiple games and is the best overall smasher in Maine. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Zombiehn (talkcontribs) 03:42, August 20, 2015

Character usage[edit]

Characters should only be added next to a player's name if they directly counted to winning a tournament set (so winning games in a set that you lost doesn't count). On that note, low tier characters used to win pool matches generally don't count either (for example, Pichu shouldn't be added next to Mew2King's name just because he won a set with it in pools). That's why I added a notice for Apex 2015 Melee singles (as M2K onky won sets with Sheik and only used Marth against Leffen, where he lost). Just try to make sure to remember that for next time! Using Show Preview[edit]

Hello, Zombiehn, I see that you have made several consecutive edits to the same page. I want to point out the Show Preview button. It's right next to the Save Page button when you edit. You should use it whenever you are making a lot of experimental edits, for example when you are trying to get formatting right. Using the Show Preview button is quicker and easier than saving and clicking "edit" again, and will keep Recent Changes and page histories from being flooded. Thanks, RickTommy 01:54, 13 September 2015 (EDT)
