NPOV
Zeldasmash, on SmashWiki, a neutral point of view (NPOV) is supposed to be maintained on articles. The past few edits you've been making here are all subjective, which is why they've been reverted again and again. If you'd like to contest Link's placing in SmashBoard's tier list, you should probably put it in the forums or even on your own user page, instead of adding a point of view which is not neutral to Link's page. Thanks, RAN1 00:37, January 29, 2010 (UTC) [[User:Zeldasmash|Zelda]][[User talk:Zeldasmash|smash]] (talk) 23:44, July 30, 2010 (UTC)
The Preview Button
By hitting the preview button, you can see your progress so far on your user-page and weak and fix it as you see fit. Seriously, use one edit instead on a bunch of mini-ones. HavocReaper48 21:35, March 10, 2010 (UTC)

use the show preview button because no-one gives a shit about your userpage. All you're doing is cluttering up RC which hardly anyone is using. --Warwick

Let's try this again
- Warwick, don't troll.
- Zeldasmash, you've now been asked once and trolled once, and now you'll be warned by a moderator. On Smashwiki, that's hitting for the cycle, and it means you need to actually do what we're asking or we make sure you can't do what you're doing.
- Warwick, don't troll, or you will get teh banz. Semicolon (talk) 23:08, March 10, 2010 (UTC)

Your block
I didn't want to do this, and I shouldn'tve had to do this. I can't make this any clearer. Sign. Your. Comments I am going to try a new system on you as well, as your transgressions are relatively minimal but my irritation with you has grown geometrically. Every time you fail to sign your comments (hint, if you forget how to do it, it tells you right above the text window) I will block you for double what I blocked you last time, and perhaps give you a funny name in the unsigned template. I'm done asking, and I'm not going to beg for you to follow basic protocol around here. We're on to action time, so sign your comments. That's the last time I tell you. Henceforth, I'll just block you. Semicolon (talk) 02:54, March 12, 2010 (UTC)
Matchups
I would like to add to your comments regarding matchups. The reason why the matchups look like this is due to smashboards people being lazy or due to inactivity on their board in that topic. See for example Luigi who has basically 0 matchups listed. Don't edit things in reference to matchups. I am personally going to smashboards right now and checking with the Luigi matchups to make sure they get finished. Edit: forgot signature --KoRoBeNiKi (talk) 17:26, March 13, 2010 (UTC)
...
Fresh off a block for not signing your posts, you make that edit to the tier list page. I don't care if you think that you are right, we've been over the fact that that is not considered proper editing on this wiki. Your other posts have generally consisted of you adding spaces to articles and then removing them and/or talking about how you think Link should be higher on the tier list even though you can't give any reasons or show empirical evidence to his strengths. I can't make you a better contributor, but you need to start being one. Clarinet Hawk (talk · contributions) 19:26, March 14, 2010 (UTC)
Competency chart
You know, your competency tiers shouldn't have to be the same exact size as mine. I don't mind that you copied my competency chart to use as an template, but you should add some individuality to yours. Omega Tyrant 01:29, June 7, 2010 (UTC)
I'm Sorry
I apologize. I just wanted to show my opinion in tiers. User:Zeldasmash
- You don't need to apologize, I was just suggesting that you should change the tiers' sizes. Not to cause trouble, but your test shows how good you are with each character, not how good of an character they are. Just in case you didn't know, my chart shows how good I am with each character and not my opinion on tiers. Omega Tyrant 01:44, June 7, 2010 (UTC)
Well All Right
Thanks. I guess i said the wrong thing. The thing is i don't know how to change the tier list size.

This is taking to long
Omega, when are you making the changes, no offense but your taking too long. I'm sorry if i hurt your patience.
- You see, I'm multitasking right now. My update is a major update, I'm talking on the IRC, making sure no one vandalizes any pages, and I'm eating. I can't assure you that I'll organize your tiers by midnight but I'll do it before I go to sleep. Omega Tyrant 01:25, June 8, 2010 (UTC)
- Sorry, i know I'm being impatient. User: Zeldasmash
Priority
The things you say on your userpage about Link's and Captain Falcon's priority is false. Go take a look at the Priority page. Omega Tyrant 02:59, June 8, 2010 (UTC)
- Okay. But how am i supposed to know the priority. User:Zeldasmash
- Very simply, you shouldn't mention it at all as it is not a characteristic of each character or attack, but a characteristic of every hitbox. Therefore, no character really has a priority advantage over another character and there are no characters with "low" priority or "high" priority. Omega Tyrant 03:19, June 8, 2010 (UTC)
- So what you are saying is that every priority is the same User: Zeldasmash
- On average no. Technically, Ganondorf's priority is higher than Sheik's overall due to him having attacks with much more damaging hitboxes. But there is not enough of a difference between any two characters for anyone to truly have a priority advantage. Again, it is not a characteristic of each character but a characteristic of every hitbox. Omega Tyrant 03:29, June 8, 2010 (UTC)
- Make sense, okay. Oh and remember the changes User: Zeldasmash June 8, 2010 (UTC)
User Page
The list above doesn't match either of your two charts on your userpage. Do you want me to base your tiers as the same ratio as in the list above? Omega Tyrant 04:24, June 8, 2010 (UTC)

- OK then, you shouldn't make anymore edits to your page until I'm done. Omega Tyrant 04:29, June 8, 2010 (UTC)
- All righty. Thanks for your help, Omega. User: Zeldasmash
Alright, this is going too far.
Your high amount of edits to your userpage is clogging up the Recent Changes; it's hard to tell what's actually being contributed to the wiki. So, here's how things are going to work now. You will learn to use the Preview button. Click it, and nothing will be saved, but you'll see what things are going to look like. This lets you make extremely large/complicated changes while clicking on the Save Page button only once.
As motivation for learning to preview pages, if I (or other admins, if they feel like it) catch you making too many minor edits to your userpage in a short amount of time, I will lock the page for 24 hours. Toomai Glittershine The Table Designer 14:44, June 8, 2010 (UTC)
- Oh, and a note on the matchup templates you're using. The syntax has changed, see Template:Matchup for the new syntax. Toomai Glittershine The Table Designer 20:39, June 8, 2010 (UTC)

Tier Lists
I made that tier list for you but there are some things that you are going to have to start doing. Firstly, I noticed you have not been signing your posts properly. To sign your posts, simply put ~~~~ at the end of your posts. I also highly recommend that you start making constructive edits to the mainspace. Unless you start doing these two things, I'll not help you post anymore of your tier lists on your userpage in the future. Omega Tyrant 08:16, June 14, 2010 (UTC)
- Got it. User: Zeldasmash Zeldasmash (talk) 11:16, June 14, 2010 (UTC)
This...
...is atrocious. Not even a fifth of your edits to this site are constructive, and that is frankly a joke. Stop focusing so much on your userspace and start actually benefiting the wiki. Shadowcrest 03:12, July 14, 2010 (UTC)
block
You have been blocked for 2 weeks for frankly just being annoying. You have contributed very little to the site, and much of what you have contributed to the mainspace has been reverted. Your talkpage/forum contributions are not very meaningful either, so you don't even have that argument in your defense. Honestly, your pattern of contributions sucks, and if it doesn't change then I'd have no problems permabanning you-- the only reason I didn't do that this time is because you have no blocks for it in the past and I felt that the jump to perma was too long. Now that you do have a block for being a poor contributor, I would not feel so forgiving next time. Some things I would recommend doing:
- Stop focusing so much on your userspace. Nobody really cares about what tier you think each character should be or what your userpage looks like.
- Look for ways to improve the mainspace, and don't give me some half-assed excuse that "there's nothing to edit QQ" because there is. Look for pages that are formatted improperly. Make sure pages are categorized correctly. Assuming your grammatical skills are up to snuff, re-write poorly written sections. There's a lot to do if you would just look for them. Special:Random and Special:Recentchanges are fine ways to do it, or you could go through sets of pages (such as all character pages or all stages) and make sure they look good. It's not that hard.
- If you are like me and find editing the mainspace extremely boring, then participate in useful discussions in user talk/forum/smashwiki spaces. If you have something intelligent to contribute to a discussion, just add it in. People will notice. However, the key here is that your comments need to be intelligent and that the discussion needs to actually be relevant to the wiki- if you're just discussing what tier a character should be in, you're wasting my time and yours. Not cool.
I hope that, upon your return, you will actually take what I've said here into consideration, because normally in my post-block explanation comments I'm not so forgiving. So don't make me have wasted my time telling you this.
PS. There are a number of other users that this message applies to. If you are one of these users, you should also take note of my advice here, because I will probably not be as lenient next time. Shadowcrest 21:48, July 15, 2010 (UTC)
- Dude, he was blocked before.--MegaTron1XD 05:59, July 18, 2010 (UTC)
- No blocks for it -> he wasn't blocked for being useless before. Also, the jump from 16 hours to perma is still a pretty huge one. Shadowcrest 14:33, July 18, 2010 (UTC)

Userspace edits
Think about why you got banned before for this and stop making them so often. I checked, and the past 30 of your 50 edits were to your userspace and to your talk pages of your subpages (not to mention three more subpages you created in these past 50 edits). This was the main reason for two of your previous bans, and your last ban for this just got over two weeks ago. Slow down with them and make more contributions to other areas. Hey
Firstly, where are you getting these "mugshots" of yours from? Did you make them yourself; do you have permission to use them?
Secondly, why do you think you should be uploading them? We do allow personal images, yes, but putting up an entire set of icons just for your own personal use will be confusing to users who never see your userpages. And to be blunt, with a userspace edit ratio of 86% (i.e. only 14% of your contributions are potentially useful to the wiki), you don't deserve it. - I would like to point out it is possible that a user may be blocked for making excessive edits to a single page if it's deemed disruptive. I once blocked someone on the SmashWikia who made over 60 edits to a single article in a span of an hour. And I'll point out ZS uploaded excessive images, which doesn't involve the preview button. Omega Tyrant 12:23, 18 March 2011 (EDT)
- Those mugshots are from a flash game (OT and Ivy know about the game). In their wiki, i became i mod in there. Toomai asked if i had permission to use them. Zeldasmash (talk) 14:42, 18 March 2011 (EDT)
- We meant HERE. Just because you're a mod on another wiki doesn't mean you can use them here, as they're pretty useless unless you plan to put them on you're userpage. (Btw, your mainspace edits are around 10% of your total edits so you probably don't deserve to.) -Ivy73 15:42, 18 March 2011 (EDT)

Samus' combo ability

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QIIrizK2SXs&feature=related Zeldasmash (talk) 12:06, 30 May 2011 (EDT)
- Mega, Samus does have combo ability in SSB 64. All characters do. Samus is ranked lowly because on an absolute scale (on TAS level), Samus ends up being worse than the others. Mr. Anon (talk) 12:07, 30 May 2011 (EDT)
- I think Luigi deserves to be last, imo (despite the fact that in SSB64, he is in my Top 5). Zeldasmash (talk) 12:10, 30 May 2011 (EDT)
- Again, the SSB64 tier list has been proven through TAS. There will never be another tier list, since the game has been solved (like tic-tak-toe) Mr. Anon (talk) 14:21, 30 May 2011 (EDT)
- You're absolutely wrong, TAS does not determine a tier list, as what is possible through TAS is absolutely impossible for a human player to emulate. Omega Tyrant 22:23, 30 May 2011 (EDT)
- In SSB64, the game has been solved to the extent that it is possible to play perfectly as a character. For example, when Pikachu battles Link, it has been proven that the match will be favorable towards Pikachu. Matchups are determined through the absolute ability of the metagame. As TAS represents a perfect playstyle, it can be used to determine the tier list.
- However, to the rest of us (humans), the game is pretty much balanced. Isai and Johnny can pwn with anyone really. Hitstun is so high that all characters have combos to an extent, most even having zero-death combos on nearly every character. Mr. Anon (talk) 23:34, 30 May 2011 (EDT)
- Tier lists are not based on absolute potential, the human factor is considered. Why do you think every tier list ever made has such a major influence from tournament results? It doesn't matter what TAS says is "possible", if it is not feasible for a human player to replicate to where it affects the metagame/tournament scene, it is a non factor in tier lists. For example, it is said frame data "proves" Meta Knight has unbeatable planking, to where once he gets the lead, he will not lose. Now why is MK not banned for this? Because the human factor and tournament results show that this does not happen at an achievable human level. Another such example would be Diddy Kong and his single banana infinite lock that works on almost every character. While this is technically possible, why isn't Diddy Kong considered a tier above everyone else? Because of the human factor, the single nanner infinite lock is too difficult to set up and perform on a basis to where it has an actual impact on the metagame/tournament scene.
- You're absolutely wrong, TAS does not determine a tier list, as what is possible through TAS is absolutely impossible for a human player to emulate. Omega Tyrant 22:23, 30 May 2011 (EDT)
- Again, the SSB64 tier list has been proven through TAS. There will never be another tier list, since the game has been solved (like tic-tak-toe) Mr. Anon (talk) 14:21, 30 May 2011 (EDT)
- I think Luigi deserves to be last, imo (despite the fact that in SSB64, he is in my Top 5). Zeldasmash (talk) 12:10, 30 May 2011 (EDT)
- As such, tier lists consider what is possible in the human realm of things. TAS videos have absolutely no impact on any tier list ever made, as they portray playing ability that is simply impossible for a human player to achieve. So please, stop going around saying "TAS proves X, TAS shows the tier list is X", when in the actual tournament scene, this is simply not true. Omega Tyrant 00:00, 31 May 2011 (EDT)
