The third one (Wikipedia-style). Hyesz. Miles (talk) 00:39, February 15, 2010 (UTC)
- For the record, on the IRC, PoD preferred the White & Colour (number 4), and suggested maybe softening the colours of the first two. Toomai Glittershine eXemplary Logic 03:26, February 15, 2010 (UTC)
- I dunno; the color sorta damages the allusion in my opinion. If we do go for a colored one, though, make it the bottom one. Miles (talk) 18:05, February 15, 2010 (UTC)
- What was said on IRC: I said that I found the first two ("Smash Ball" and "Smash Ball (Invert)") overly-colourful, and the third ("Wikipedia-style") underly-colourful, so Toomai suggested, then made, "White & Colour", which I said was hands-down my favourite, so he then made the "Complete Concept" image based on that, which is the proposed new logo.
- I'm so used to the current logo that it's difficult to come to an impartial decision, but I think I prefer the proposed new logo to the current one. PenguinofDeath 18:56, February 15, 2010 (UTC)
- My only main issue is with the colored ones is that some of the colors really clash (and the yellow ones like the Wario symbol are difficult to see). Miles (talk) 19:53, February 15, 2010 (UTC)
- I could possibly darken the yellow, or in the worst case add black outlines. Also, I had another idea in which the symbols are black or grey (or white) and the pieces are different solid colours - might clash even more than what you see now, though. - Colouring the pieces wouldn't work very well at all - for one, you'd have to make sure that no adjoining pieces were of clashing colours, or it'd look terrible. Some of the series symbols are difficult to make out (I could only get the Metal Gear one through a process of elimination...), but the colours are fine. I can't see what Miles' problem with the Wario symbol is, to be honest - I find it one of the clearest. PenguinofDeath 21:07, February 15, 2010 (UTC)
- Colored pieces would look poor, I agree. Is the Triforce a better example of a difficult-to-see icon? Miles (talk) 23:08, February 15, 2010 (UTC)
- The ones I find most difficult to make out are the bottom three, the two on the left, and Gyro (the furthest right one), and that's only cos they're the most distorted. Those universes have made some of the smallest contributions to the Smash series, though, so there's no great loss if they're not as easy to see as the others - you can still tell exactly what the logo is of. Also, I would say that the Kid Icarus symbol is the most difficult to make out of all the yellow symbols. PenguinofDeath 23:23, February 15, 2010 (UTC)

Alright, I've faded the overly-colourful ones and darkened the yellow a bit. How's it look now? Toomai Glittershine The Stats Guy 16:37, February 16, 2010 (UTC)
