I like your new sandbox. Where did you get the idea from? I’m exited to see how the Pokémon section would look like since some missing Pokéball Pokémon like Wobuffet and Pokéfloats Pokémon like Psyduck are spirits and while there were human trophies before, the only humans in Smash Ultimate are Red and Leaf. 174.55.24.64 22:46, October 15, 2019 (EDT)

If I were you I'd be careful with saying things like "quit this at once", as though it doesn't count as block talk or a personal attack, it is still a rather demanding statement and could be taken as such. I understand you might be annoyed by the IP too but you should still be careful about being too demanding in your warnings. SupαToαd64 00:40, November 8, 2019 (EST)

Iori Yagami and Ryo Sakazaki symbols
I'm confused. I know they aren't actually from Fatal Fury, but they appear on the Fatal Fury stage, and they (along with Nakoruru, who somebody else changed similar to what you did) are all in the Fatal Fury Spirit Board. By all purposes, shouldn't they have that instead of that weird circle thing that I'm not even sure is a real one? 72.203.118.154 18:33, January 6, 2020 (EST)
- The SNK characters are a strange case for the Smash Bros. series. Despite all the cameos on the King of Fighters stage and the fact that every SNK music track is categorized as "Fatal Fury" music, the Spirits menu does not give them the Fatal Fury series symbol, instead giving them no symbol at all, which is the case of spirits from universes that don't have fighters.
- The Namco series have a similar issue: All music is categorized as "Pac-Man" and one of Pac-Man's taunts even includes cameos of various Namco IPs, but when it comes to trophies/spirits (such as the case with Boss Galaga, Special Flag, Pooka, and Bacura), they're never actually categorized as part of the "Pac-Man" series.
- So yeah, I definitely understand your confusion. It's probably best to just identify these series as their own rather than lump them all into the main represented series of the company. SuperSmashTurtles (talk) 20:17, January 6, 2020 (EST)
- Ah, that makes sense now. Thanks. 72.203.118.154 01:47, January 7, 2020 (EST)
- And to answer your confusion about the symbol, it is a real one. It was used for Melee's Battlefield on the stage select screen. We use it for minor universes that don't have an official symbol. SupαToαd64 21:54, January 6, 2020 (EST)
- Wait, why that one specifically? I distinctly remember the ellipsis in this Megalovania video being used for minor series without a symbol in-game? Thanks for letting me know that the weird circle thing is real, but why use it as the minor series symbol if it's used elsewhere and an actual, more recognizable one exists? 72.203.118.154 01:47, January 7, 2020 (EST)
- Well, there are a few discussions on the Series Symbol article's talk page (as well as this entire discussion thread here) about why the "ellipsis" symbol isn't used for the minor universes, so maybe those can help. SuperSmashTurtles (talk) 02:02, January 7, 2020 (EST)

The Byleth names on the website trivia
Holy shoot I am so sorry about the imgur. I did upload an example of how both Bereto and Beresu are listed in Japanese on imgur, but I don't know what happened with the link. I did not upload that video of the horse. God that was gross. 72.203.118.154 20:58, January 20, 2020 (EST)
- Ok, just curious, your edit summary here seemed to be against the source, but you removed the entire trivia point. However, I was pointing out something that is a first in the series, so I'm curious if you removed it because you think it's not notable enough or because it was a mistake. Sorry if the source didn't work. I was just in a huge debate over whether a Wikipedia page should be almost completely blanked because it didn't have enough sources according to one overzealous Wikipedia admin, so I wanted to play it safe here. 72.203.118.154 01:26, January 21, 2020 (EST)
- I think the Trivia is notable. The problem was just that you kept using bad sources. Although, to be honest, I don't think a source is needed now that I think about it, considering all you have to do is just search up the Japanese website for Ultimate, go on the Characters page, and BAM, it's right there. Series symbols for items in SSB.
About that thing about the series symbols on SSB's item table. On Ultimate's article, there, too, is an item table, but only covering new ones. Plus, there were series symbols on the table list, so I had to do the same thing to SSB's. Hope you understand what I was trying to do. No hard feelings. Hippie
I picked up that hippie trivia from the earthbound wiki, which classifies them as different enemies. https://earthbound.fandom.com/wiki/Hippie and I know that isn't the recognised earthbound wiki, so I checked wikibound too, and they have different pages for each Pallukun (talk) 13:29, February 28, 2020 (EST)
- (It always confuses me when people link to earthbound wikia instead of wikibound) EarthBound expert here and I can confirm they are seperate. It's not just that their pages are seperate, in Japan too they are seperate enemies if you need more evidence. In Japan the hippie in Beginnings is named "Onī-san" (おにいさん eng: Young Man), while in EarthBound the NARH named "Kimamana Nī-san" in Japan (きままなにいさん eng:Carefree Guy). OmegαToαd the Toαd Wαrrior (BUP) 01:57, March 9, 2020 (EDT)
- I get where you're coming from. However, if I can put my two cents into this: I don't believe they are intended to be two separate types of enemies, as not only do they have near identical designs, but they also have the same battle theme. Plus, in the end of the day, they are both supposed to be hippies, after all. I feel like the different names are more of a case of "renaming" rather than creating an entirely new enemy.
- I personally do not agree with the whole "These two identical things have different names, so they must be separate things" mentality when it comes to Wikis because all it really does is lead to pages that easily could've been included in a different article rather than have its own page (Bulbapedia is especially messy with this when it comes to certain Trainer classes, such as all of the Double Battle Trainer-types that consist of two Cool/Ace Trainers). I guess you can argue that the reason why some Wikis go with this tactic is because "it's not official" and/or that it technically falls under "speculation", which I can understand, but sometimes there are cases where I feel it's rather questionable if this tactic should even be used when it comes to two similar components that don't quite share a name. (To give an example: Is there any reason why the "Titanees" and the "Titany" need separate pages when they literally share a Japanese name unlike the Hippies?) SuperSmashTurtles of the Turtle Tribe 02:45, March 9, 2020 (EDT)
- In my opinion the NARH is more of a successor to the hippie from Beginnings. They have a different set of attacks, which the only one they share is losing their temper which raises their offense. It's somewhat of a Ninten and Ness situation: a lot of people think Ness is Ninten and they just renamed him, but they're actually not the same. It's a bit of a debatable situation on whether or not the hippies should be considered the same character or not so this is more of "leave things as it is" situation.
- Though as a WikiBound admin I do have to agree we don't need seperate pages for characters and enemies just because they have a different english name, but are otherwise the exact same character (Titanees vs Titany, Starman Jr. vs Starman Junior, Queen Mary vs Maria). There are certian instances where 2 things might share a name but are otherwise completely different from each other (hence why I recently split Magicant into 2 pages), but the Maria and Queen Mary circumstance is absurd (the reason it was split was because of "spoilers"...).
- (off topic but if you think it's bad that you never heared of Zelda before Smash Bros, I never heard of Pokemon until I played Melee as mentioned in my userpage, and one of the main reasons I got into Pokemon was because I heard it was related to EarthBound.) OmegαToαd the Toαd Wαrrior (BUP) 04:00, March 9, 2020 (EDT)
- I wouldn't really use the Ninten and Ness situation as a good comparison as both those guys are their own established characters, with both of them even having a few design differences (For Ninten: shirt stripes are thinner, lacks a backpack, cap is turned the opposite direction, hair comb is more "spiky", red socks & blue shoes, and I dunno what the hell is up with his shorts).
- The Hippie enemies on the other hand are only generic enemies that may have different names and movesets, but their designs are unchanged from one another and they more-or-less are the same concept.
- Anyway, to avoid making this discussion go one for too long, all I can really say is we can just agree to disagree. You say that the Hippies should be separated, I say they should be considered the same, it's all a matter of opinion.
- If it's okay with you, I can make a discussion on the EarthBound universe page discussing this issue.
- (off topic but if you think it's bad that you never heared of Zelda before Smash Bros, I never heard of Pokemon until I played Melee as mentioned in my userpage, and one of the main reasons I got into Pokemon was because I heard it was related to EarthBound.) - (and since you did the whole "off-topic" thing here: what exactly about Meowth does it make you think of furries? Like, I totally get Incineroar for various reasons *looks directly at its pelvic thrust animation and it being able to use Savage Spin-Out*, but Meowth doesn't really have any qualities that most people would associate with furries, maybe aside from it being bipedal. I'd honestly say Mew reminds me of furries a bit more than Meowth does, since its design is somewhat closer to being a "DeviantArt"-esque (for lack of a better term) furry design in my eyes.
plz dont kil me) SuperSmashTurtles of the Turtle Tribe 05:09, March 9, 2020 (EDT)- I don't think the hippie is worth having a discussion about, since it's still a rather minor thing and this is not WikiBound. This is a Smash Bros wiki so whether or not they're considered the same is irrelevant here. This is one of those things where we have different opinions that we disagree on, and it doesn't matter much in the long run (heck I still have a hard time believing Bowser is a turtle because I always considered him, and still kinda do, a dinosaur because he looks more like one). All it would be for is whether or not include a single trivia piece, it's not like let's say... considering Mewtwo a villian, that's something that requires a good discussion.
- (and since you did the whole "off-topic" thing here: what exactly about Meowth does it make you think of furries? - And since the off topic "furries" thing is still alive, not only is Meowth bipedal, but his skinny, lanky human-like limbs and overall human-like body looks really weird to me, compared to Mew's chubbier cat-like legs and body, plus more cat-like face. It doesn't help that Meowth "fur" is the color of human flesh (that sounded way less weird in my mind). I have a reason why I still refuse to evolve my Torracat. Though I don't detest all furries. - I suppose you're right for now, but if the Hippie does get a role in Smash that would gain them an article (like a Mii Costume), then I could see this issue becoming a "bigger deal".
- (Also, I'd be careful with that jab towards Black Vulpine if I were you, even if he isn't on the Wiki anymore. Although I'm aware you don't mean any harm, it is still close enough to the border of becoming a personal attack.) SuperSmashTurtles of the Turtle Tribe 20:21, March 9, 2020 (EDT)

Speculation?
Speculation? Could my addition really be considered speculation? It's little less than fact. BK > DK, and DK > Mario; logic rules that BK > Mario. What's speculative about that?
Should I come across as aggressive and arrogant, I apologize in advance (if I'm forgetting an important detail here, please inform me of it).
108.247.197.59 21:42, March 10, 2020 (EDT)
- Even if it doesn't technically qualify as "speculation", Banjo-Kazooie is only a Mario sub-universe in such a roundabout way that it isn't even notable at that point. It's pretty much the same as calling Rhythm Heaven a Mario sub-universe just because a few characters from that franchise make a few cameo appearances in the WarioWare series (and vice-versa). Zelda: you didn't restore it the way it was.
The informations about the spirits origin were moved from the spirits stats sections to the series section. You just removed those informations entirely instead of moving them back to where they were. YoshiRyu (talk) 07:48, March 21, 2020 (EDT)
- Um, the "artwork and game origins" info was originally grouped into the "Primary/Support Spirits" sections and not on the "Series Order" section, so I don't quite get what you mean by "you didn't restore it the way it was".
- Honestly, I don't think the "artwork and game origins" info is really needed all that much, considering that the game itself never covers where the artwork of the spirit is from nor what specific game a spirit debuted in. SuperSmashTurtles of the Turtle Tribe 16:52, March 21, 2020 (EDT)
- You didn't put the "artwork and game origins" info back in the "Primary/Support Spirits" sections, those columns are not currently in the page anymore. Reading your reply, I think you might not be aware of that, maybe you did a mistake when editing (like forgeting to save change after checking the preview or something). YoshiRyu (talk) 21:30, March 21, 2020 (EDT)
- The edit summary does have "Series Origin" (written in a gray color) written in it, so that should be a hint that my edit was specifically just about that section and not also the "Primary/Support Spirits" section. To be honest, I really didn't feel like restoring those sections back to the way they were and I probably should've pointed that out in hindsight. So...
I noticed you also assisted me with categorizing over 400+ images, so here's my thanks for your help. I was bored and happened to stumble upon a list of uncategorized spirit images, so I tried to see if I could categorize all of them in one day and possibly get a shining star. So thanks your help was definitely appreaciated! Btw I'm not that loathsome towards furries, I love Animal Crossing after all. I just don't like ones that are overly humanoid or not wearing anything at all. The worst would be both combined... OmegαToαd the Toαd Wαrrior (BUP) 10:08, April 9, 2020 (EDT)
- You're welcome, my good sir. I woke up earlier than usual, and there was nothing entertaining to do, so I did what you were doing and did some categorizing on my own.
I know that, it's just that the jokes were kinda getting tiresome. Admittedly, Incineroar and especially K.K. Slider aren't really "humanoid" enough to make me uncomfortable, so I guess we have different tastes. I actually strongly dislike the "anthro-animmal" Pokémon who are designed to appear as though they are wearing a full set of clothes, if my negative reactions towards Delphox, Cinderace, and Inteleon on the Incineroar section of my userpage are any indication. I admittedly don't really care for fully-clothed overly humanoid animal characters most of the time (stuff like Bojack Horseman or Beastars), which is one of the reasons why I called Fox "the least interesting kind of furry".SuperSmashTurtles of the Turtle Tribe 10:32, April 9, 2020 (EDT)- Heh hopefully it wasn't too much and didn't make you feel dizzy, and your eyes didn't feel like they were on fire. Actually this kinda reminds me of when me and DracoRex were templating the SSBU fighter characters' changelist on all of thecpages, except it was him that started it and I assisted afterwards.
- Anyway even though I never got a shiningstar before ;( I feel you deserve one though because you also did a lot of categorizing too, and I noticed you never got one either (and admittedly I like Fox Mccloud, mainly only because of melee memes):
- So there ya go
and finally I can somewhat tolerate most (not all, most) anthro animals as long as they're fully clothed, the reason I don't otherwise is because... well they just look disturbing, not NSFW, but coming close. But I still have yet to see something NSFW about furries, and I hope it stays that way...OmegαToαd the Toαd Wαrrior (BUP) 18:37, April 9, 2020 (EDT)

- Just wanted them to maintain consistency with each other. I actually haven't done all the Assist Trophies, yet. Before all this, I was just adding missing categories and I stopped at Isabelle.
- Anyway, if you want to add some categories, here's the order I'm going with:
- If the "="'s are spaced between the "Summary" or "License" sections, remove the spaces to reserve bytes.
- Category:*Insert universe here* universe (Always add the Assist Trophy's universe)
- Category:*Insert fighter here* (SSB*insert initial for Smash game*) (If a fighter is present. Only use the appropriate game)
- Category:Assist Trophies (Only applies to screenshots or Assist Trophy artwork. Do not add to origin images, stickers, or spirits)
- Category:Smash Run enemies (Same rules as "Category:Assist Trophies")
- Category:Mii costume characters (Same rules as "Category:Assist Trophies" and "Category:Enemies")
- Category:Downloadable content (Only add these to content that is not in the base game)
- Category:Screenshots (SSB*insert initial for Smash game here*) (Should not apply for screenshots that are in the game itself, such as Challenge Board images. Only use the appropriate game)
- Category:Origin images (Should only be used for artwork that are not pieces of Smash promo artwork, stickers, or spirits. Screenshots that come from a specific game (Like, say, a screenshot of the original Donkey Kong arcade game) are acceptable, too, just so long that the screenshot is used for the purpose of discussing a character's origin.)
- Keep in mind that when it comes to Smash 4 screenshots, "Category:Screenshots (SSB4-3DS)" should be used for the 3DS version, while "Category:Screenshots (SSB4-Wii U)" should be used for the Wii U version. SuperSmashTurtles of the Turtle Tribe 19:57, April 16, 2020 (EDT)

- Not Turtles but the reason is a lot of them are making loose connections that don't add much to the page. A user named NinTylo was overbloating the trivia sections on various pages with Classic Mode trivia that aside from being uninteresting, a lot of the time they're big stretches or even speculation. Some even point out obvious facts, and others were completely irrelevant to the article itself. This help page can explain better of what makes good trivia and bad. Top 20 contenders
Not sure if I can ask this curious question, but what and who are the top 20 contenders in Ultimate? SonDaniel (talk page) 21:29, April 28, 2020 (EDT)
- Um, what exactly do you mean? SuperSmashTurtles of the Turtle Tribe 21:36, April 28, 2020 (EDT)
- When I read the metagame article, it said that general consensus is Mario is top 20 contender. I wonder if that meant there are 20 fighters who are contenders for something. What is the thing the characters are contending for? And who are those twenty contenders? SonDaniel (talk page) 21:44, April 28, 2020 (EDT)
- Sorry, but if you've had the time to read my profile, you will learn that I have no interest in the metagame whatsoever, so you've basically asked the wrong person for this info. SuperSmashTurtles of the Turtle Tribe 21:50, April 28, 2020 (EDT)
