Smashwikia
I heard of that wikia for a long time and I heard about the migration to this wiki, in which this wiki is seperate, I was wondering about doing about wikia because we can't have two wiki about Smash Bros. We need to either ged rid of Smashwikia or make Smashwikia into something else. Also I heard a discussion at wikia and what to do with it, How do you vote on a suggestion on Smashwikia although I'm not old enough. ..... AP 20:11, 6 April 2011 (EDT)
- SmashWikia can't be gotten rid of as Wikia refuses to delete it. For changing the SmashWikia, we have received resistance and is not looking likely right now. To voice your opinion, just go to the forum in the sitenotice and follow the wikia link from there. You don't need to create an account on Wikia edit there. Omega Tyrant 20:34, 6 April 2011 (EDT)
- From Solar Dragon's eyes, he said wikia is evil. ..... AP 22:21, 6 April 2011 (EDT)
- I have had experience with all the staff members now. They don't care about the community or any other user. They only care about money they get from ads. That is why they don't delete wikis. It is just one less wiki for them to get money from. Wikia staff are evil, selfish, corrupt people. ☆The Solar Dragon☆ 01:25, 7 April 2011 (EDT)

Mainspace?
Um, what's a mainspace? Kirbythe Amazing 21:22, 6 April 2011 (EDT)
- Mainspace articles are the main, encyclopedic articles you read, such as tier list and Meta Knight. Omega Tyrant 21:31, 6 April 2011 (EDT)
- *gasp* my mainspace edit only reached 1,75 percent! So, if I'm edit some main article, (of course, with useful information) my mainspace edit percentage will go up?Kirbythe Amazing 01:59, 7 April 2011 (EDT)
- Yes, but if I'm honest with you, even grammatical edits help, and also contribute to your total count. Probably most of edits are made up if these kinds of edits. I encourage you to make more useful eits, however, and correct grammar mistakes on the page in one single edit, unlike myself :/. Vincent Tran IT'S OVER 9000!!! 02:08, 7 April 2011 (EDT)
what
what happened to youre talk page, wasnt there more on it--kyle.b talk 12:15, 7 April 2011 (EDT)
- I archived it as it was getting too large. When talk pages exceed 30,000 bytes in size, you have to archive it. Omega Tyrant 12:46, 7 April 2011 (EDT)
- Basically, move your talk page to: "User talk:Username/Archive X" replacing Username with your username and X with the archive number (1st archive is 1, etc.) archiving my talk page would be archived like "User talk:Solar Dragon/Archive 1". You have to MOVE the page, using the move button (top of page, near edit button) to the archive. ☆The Solar Dragon☆ 11:38, 8 April 2011 (EDT)
I have a question.
Just wondering, how do you do the profile thingamabob on your userpage? (By that, I mean the Smash fighter thingy. How do you do that, and is it admin-exclusive?) --ToonLucario122 (talk) 13:14, 8 April 2011 (EDT)

What will happened?
Oh no, I accidently comment and support on the suggestion page SEPARATELY! What must I do? What will happened because of this? So sorry... Kirbythe Amazing 08:29, 18 April 2011 (EDT)
- Nothing will happen, as long as you don't consistently make three or so separate edits each time that can be done in one. Omega Tyrant 08:30, 18 April 2011 (EDT)
A gallery

- Oh holy smokes! I just remembered your case about the contest, Lt4! And I still remember what Megatron1 says! "It's no use to upload a lot of personal images in the Wiki" oh no... But, may I? If it's a no, well I won't do it. But if it's a yes, I will do it. But, I think it's a no about the gallery. The request is the most important for me. So, what's the answer? Kirbythe Amazing 08:31, 19 April 2011 (EDT)
- There is currently no limit on personal images. However, do not upload many at once, and lacking in productive contributions to the Wiki while personal images will not look well for you. As such, if you do upload many personal images, make constructive contributions to the Wiki. Omega Tyrant 08:43, 19 April 2011 (EDT)

Fox vs. Wolf
You want to delete this suggestion, but also want the fight in the SA. I'm confused.--Wolf rulez! Playtime's over! 06:26, 22 April 2011 (EDT)

So in the future, if someone has something on their userpage that is not allowed, such as the aforementioned message box, you are free to remove it without notification (though do explain the edit in the edit summary). Brawl talk, and game n watch

I mean, like I said, I'm not here very long, and I think it's going to be a epic fail, but do you think I could make a little chance? It's not that I want rollback already while I'm just here since April 9, and it's also not about HAVING it, but I'll just tought: let's try. Oh, please look at this:

Planning for article
Omega tyrant ! I was wondering, I want to make an article called' photo match' which is a match where the player tries to make a good picture or video, but do you think I should made the article, or just put it on' taunt match' page? Lucas-IV- Paper Tosser 07:20, 4 May 2011 (EDT)
- I don't think that article is necessary. It's not a mode in Brawl (and the Melee mode has its own article already), nor is it a common term among the fandom. Omega Tyrant 07:36, 4 May 2011 (EDT)
- hey! Taunt match is'nt a mode, either! Then why does it have it's own page?Lucas-IV- Paper Tosser 07:51, 4 May 2011 (EDT)

30 kilobytes
Do you have to archive your talk page if it is 30kb? Because mine (and yours) is 30kb.--Wolf rulez! Playtime's over! 04:48, 6 May 2011 (EDT)
- Once your talk page reaches 30 kb, it is time to archive. Immediate archivation isn't required (I typically wait a little and let my page grow a little more before archiving). But waiting too long while your talk page continues to grow will be met with a warning, then if that warning is ignored, it will be met with action. Omega Tyrant 05:24, 6 May 2011 (EDT)
- Um... I can't really get wise by reading Help:Archiving, so can you help me?--Wolf rulez! Playtime's over! 05:31, 6 May 2011 (EDT)
1. Make a page called User talk:Username/archive x (username being your username obviously, and x being the number of your archive)
2. Copy and paste all finished conversations on your talk page to your archive. Also put the archive template {{archive}} at the top of your page.
3. Remove all the moved discussions from your talk page, and include a link to your archive on your talk page.
Archiving is not difficult. Omega Tyrant 05:41, 6 May 2011 (EDT)

Default test
I realised when Mr. Anon was adding KO percents to Giant Punch that there is no default test for SSB, I think it should be a DK since he's so big it'll be easier to test out multiple hitboxes but i cannot decide which stage, Mushroom Kingdom and peaches castle have obstuctions, sector Z, Hyrule castle and Yoshi's island are all too big, Planet Zebes has the obvious hazard and saffron city would be difficult to test on due to obstructions on the right side. The stages that seem to be good to test on would be Dream Land or Congo Jungle but the wind effect on Dream Land would make testing from the center difficult and the slight raise in platforms in congo jungle will be difficult to test something with pure horizontal knockback, what do you think?--Shaun's Wiji Dodo talk 21:11, 21 May 2011 (EDT)
- I never played Smash64 in recent times, so I can't give you a good answer. I would say Dream Land, though I don't know how its blast lines compare to the blast lines of the other N64 stages. Omega Tyrant 04:27, 22 May 2011 (EDT)
2 Things
One, what's a sysop? Two, aren't you supposed to be archiving your talk page now?Lucas-IV- Paper Tosser 14:34, 22 May 2011 (EDT)
- A Sysop is an administrator. Sysops have the ability to block vandals, delete articles, protect pages, etc. Omega Tyrant does not need to archive his page, as it isn't that long. Mr. Anon (talk) 14:42, 22 May 2011 (EDT)
Sysop is another term for admin. And yes, it should be archived. I tend to let it grow out a bit more once it reaches 30K, and I forgot about it reaching that mark. Omega Tyrant 14:46, 22 May 2011 (EDT)
- Man, I tought you once said you let it grew more than 32kb, but I didn't know that you would stop that at 38kb! Sorry.--Wolf rulez! The best! 14:48, 22 May 2011 (EDT)

- You will have to rephrase that better, as I'm not quite understanding the AI flaw you're describing. Also remember that to be listed as an AI flaw, it must be a repeated action that causes the cpu negative consequences consistently. Omega Tyrant 19:05, 22 May 2011 (EDT)

Short-form redirects
I am in extreme disagreement of deleting redirects such as [[DK (SSBB)]]
. Not only are they actively used in pages, but I would bet a lot more people use them then you think (I myself use them a lot for faster typing and such). I will probably undelete them if I don't get a good counter-argument soon. Toomai Glittershine The Different 09:49, 29 May 2011 (EDT)
- I haven't seen [[DK (SSBB)]] and the such used to link in any pages (provide link of the pages that do?). And when it comes to the readers, how much bother putting the (SSBB) after, especially if they're already using initials/nicknames for faster typing? Both me and Dr.Pain99 can attest to this when we were readers. If you feel they are needed, undelete then, but I feel the plain DK/MK/etc. redirects achieves what the deleted redirects did. Omega Tyrant 10:03, 29 May 2011 (EDT)
- Special:WhatLinksHere/DK_(SSBB): about seven pages and ten-ish user pages.
- Also, if you want to go to "Donkey Kong (SSBB)", but you want to use the "DK" abbreviation, then it seems like a bother to go to "DK" and then follow a link to "Donkey Kong (SSBB)". So I will undelete the redirects. Toomai Glittershine The Celeritous 10:32, 29 May 2011 (EDT)
