Signatures

You should know that people often sign posts using ~~~~. This causes the wiki to substitute your signature along with the time in UTC, which saves you the trouble of inputting the time. This is the usual way to time-stamp posts, as UTC ensures we can all easily figure out the time difference between posts, so try to use this method when posting on talk pages. Horizontal momentum canceling

There's some things I need to clarify. When you say "use your fastest aerial", are you referring to the aerial that ends fastest, starts fastest, or a mix of both? Is there a reason that air dodging is a better option for Snake and Ike? I know that air dodging is quicker than all of Ike's aerials, but as Snake, my friend Luke sometimes uses u-air instead of an air dodge, and he often uses the cypher afterwards, but I'm not sure if this is for the purpose of momentum canceling or not. Also, Wolf's best horizontal momentum canceling move is his n-air... I'm not sure why, but I suspect that each hit of the a n-air contributes to the canceling. People tend to use b-air anyway, but this may be worth testing if you haven't already.

For the fastest aerial, it is simply their aerial that can be completed the fastest. For Wolf, his bair finishes faster than his nair, therefore producing better results in my testing. In the case of Ike and Snake, I tested Ike's bair and I tested Snake's bair and uair. But their air dodge produced better results for both of them. Air dodges are more difficult to use however, since air dodges can and must be perform sooner than aerials. With Ike and Snake, it requires greater reflexes. The Cypher does not negate any momentum and Luke probably uses it afterwards since it is much safer for Snake to recover above and away from the stage. I hope this clarifies your questions. I can assured you my testing was very thorough and I tested everyone's special moves that produces movement and listed those that can negate momentum. Omega Tyrant 06:30, May 9, 2010 (UTC)

No, it looks perfect, I really couldn't of asked for a better job. You did made two very minor mistakes that were simple to fix; you accidentally put in SSBB twice in G&W's link and put that Diddy Kong's Flip Jump negated a substantial amount of momentum. Hmmm, that is the diagonal trajectory of a meteor in these videos, so may actually be both a semi-spike and a meteor. I am reluctant however to call it a meteor too just yet due to how Sonic's u-smash works. Before readding it, I'll do some launch speeds test to determine if it is a meteor as well though this may be difficult due to the u-smash properties. Omega Tyrant 00:09, May 12, 2010 (UTC)

You use smash attacks far too much. If it wasn't for lag and frame delay impeding my movement, you would have been easily punished while charging these smashes. With stale-move negation, if you want to get the earliest kill possible, you have to save your best finishers until the opponent is in the KO range or at least limit their use. I can honestly say you weren't the best opponent I faced but you did pretty well. On a final note, in any future brawls we may have that you may host, don't make the match a 1 or 2 stock match, they are far too short and prevent the possibility of a comeback. When fighting online, Snake is my best as Dedede is more effected by frame delay, which makes grabbing more difficult and his chain throws near impossible on all but the heaviest characters. Also, aerial fighting is more difficult online than fighting on the ground. So Snake, a character who fights almost exclusively on the ground with his tilts and DACUS, is going to perform better online than Dedede, a character who relies on his grab & throw and aerial game. Your best is either Link or Meta Knight, I'll have to fight you more to be able to accurately pick one. However, you do seem more knowledgeable about Link than Meta Knight. Well, there's no need to apologize. I don't expect that everyone watched the moveset swap videos on Youtube before. As such, it would make more sense that Wolvereach was Peach with Wolf's moves, not Sonic's. However, having watch these videos before, I clearly know that she has Sonic's moves in this moveset swap. It seems to be one of the better SSBB articles but no. The Priority and Momentum Canceling articles should go before this one. The only article that was related to game physics or a technique to be a featured article was Wavedashing. If you read my reasons for supporting these two articles for being a features article on the featured content page, you would see why I said that they should be featured before the Ganondorf's SSBM page. Also, you are still violating SW:SIGN, you don't have to put "User:Zeldsmash". All you have to do at the end of your post is put 4 tildes ~~~~. Omega Tyrant 03:46, June 17, 2010 (UTC)

I changed my signature this morning but if you want a custom signature of your own, you should talk to Havoc as he probably can explain it better than I can (I created mine through trial and error). If you just want your username in your signature to appear forest green, go to Preferences under More. Then go to the signature box, check the box for a custom signature, and put this in your signature box.

Well, go to Bulbapedia[1], save the image of the Ivysaur sprite underneath the sprite box, and upload it here. Then to put it in your signature, put [[Image:IvysaurMS.png|25px]] (that is assuming you name the image IvysaurMS) at the end of your signature. On the Wii menu, click the icon in the lower right corner of the screen. From there, go to Create Message, then go to your address book. Then go to where it says register in the lower right corner and out of the two options, click Wii. Then you just simply input my Wii code and then I'll be registered.
