The Skill parameter has been removed from Smasher infoboxes, and in its place are the new "Best historical ranking" and "Best tournament result" parameters. SmashWiki needs help adding these new parameters to Smasher infoboxes, refer to the guidelines here for what should be included in these new parameters.
When adding results to Smasher pages, include each tournament's entrant number in addition to the player's placement, and use the {{Trn}} template with the matching game specified. Please also fix old results on Smasher pages that do not abide to this standard. Refer to our Smasher article guidelines to see how results tables should be formatted.

Characters for Tournaments[edit]

As long as a character is used to win a set, we include it in the results section. That includes Samsora's Palutena. CookiesCnC Signature.pngCreme 00:10, October 28, 2019 (EDT)

I've done this before, but have had mods tell me other times not to do that unless they are used in multiple sets. Like with adding characters Zackray used to win sets in other tournaments, but he only used said character in one set and never again for the rest of the tournament. ~Marlotix (Talk·Contributions) 00:13, October 28, 2019 (EDT)
You may be adding characters where a player won the game but still lost the set, or lost the game but still won the set. I've been told that it's fine to add all characters as long as they win the set with it. If I wasn't on mobile right now I can show you where they told me. Actually, here it is. Hopefully it's linked correctly. CookiesCnC Signature.pngCreme 00:19, October 28, 2019 (EDT)
