Indeed. Unless the situation calls for it (which is exceedingly rare), including humor on articles is highly unprofessional, and can even lead to a temporary block under vandalism grounds depending on how far it goes. About your template

While your intentions may be good, SmashWiki does not use "vandalism" templates or warnings; in more or less every case of vandalism, the vandal in question is not going to bother heeding our warnings, which renders the need for an entire template pretty moot.

While SmashWiki is similar to a number of other MediaWiki-based sites, including Wikipedia, our differing scope and scale compared to these sites may necessitate different procedures and/or protocols.

In the future, if you have an idea for a policy and/or guideline on SmashWiki, it's probably best you draft it on your userpage and ask for input, or try making an official proposal on our forums.

Your recent edits

Your recent edits seem like good faith ones, but they have been counterproductive to the wiki. I would recommend you to not edit this wiki at least until you learn how to do so, by doing good faith edits that help the wiki's articles. Not being rude, just trying to forewarn you of what happens when you don't follow the rules correctly. Also in case you were wondering, no, we're not on a holiday or something to suddenly do a vandal edit and then claim you thought it was a holiday that would lt you do so.
