Section editing

If you wish to edit multiple sections of a page, click on the Edit tab on top and go from there, instead of editing each section one at a time. That way, you can consolidate them into one edit and you won't flood Recent Changes with section edits. Thanks! Berrenta (talk) 14:29, 5 February 2015 (EST)

Interwiki Links

When linking to a page on another wiki, it would be best to use {{s|other wiki|page name}} instead of [[other wiki:page name|text to show]]. There are some cases where the latter would be used, but if the text shown doesn't need to be changed, then you would use the template. Uploading images

When uploading an image, you shouldn't necessarily add it to every remotely related page. Sometimes a page doesn't need more images. Miles (talk) 11:56, 5 August 2015 (EDT)

I appreciate that you're a good faith editor, but this is getting frustrating. This is like the seventh or eighth time I've seen you do this, where you upload a questionably-useful image and put it on every single page that has anything to do with it. Please make more of an effort to consider whether a page really needs more or different images before uploading. A lot of the time they don't. Miles (talk) 19:24, 6 October 2015 (EDT)

I hate to pester you on this subject, but I'm afraid I have to say this as a warning this time. You don't need to upload so many pictures of the same thing, or re-upload over your own image repeatedly, or re-upload a deleted picture. More pictures is not always a good thing. Please exercise a bit more restraint in your uploading and usage of images, and keep it to what's needed. If you want to help with pictures, try to focus on articles that need them. Regarding interwiki links

"mariowiki" functions identically to "supermariowiki" as interwiki link code. Changing the former to the latter does nothing of value and only adds more code to the page. Please refrain from making such changes. Thank you. Miles (talk) 21:00, 15 March 2016 (EDT)

Backup for DFB25: I don't think Dragonfirebreath25 did anything wrong, it may've just been a coincidence that a bunch of ban-evading IPs linked to his and that was only on Mariowiki. This is a big no-no. According to SW:QDV, "Do not dignify those who are trolling with a response at all, even if it is on your own talk page - that is exactly what they wish for. Don't play into their hands." Additionally, trying to plead them to stop is a wasted effort. 9 times out of 10, they won't stop regardless of what you say. I've been meaning to come to you about this for a while, but this is becoming a huge pet peeve of mine, and I can't sit back and wait anymore. When talking in general, can you please limit your usage of exclamation marks? Strong suggestion if you really want to have a ton of user images, is do what I do and make a sub page where you can paste in links to externally uploaded images. That way, it doesn't use up wiki resources. The drawback to this method is that you have no control over image scaling doing it this way... as far as I know. If you come up with a way to make the wiki apply scaling to an externally uploaded image, I would love to know about it. Black Vulpine of the Furry Nation. What you've done here...

...is actually against the manual of style. To quote from it: "There is no preference whether to use American or non-American English; therefore, one should not make an edit to a page that consists of only changing such spelling/grammar."
