| The Skill parameter has been removed from Smasher infoboxes, and in its place are the new "Best historical ranking" and "Best tournament result" parameters. SmashWiki needs help adding these new parameters to Smasher infoboxes, refer to the guidelines here for what should be included in these new parameters. |
| When adding results to Smasher pages, include each tournament's entrant number in addition to the player's placement, and use the {{Trn}} template with the matching game specified. Please also fix old results on Smasher pages that do not abide to this standard. Refer to our Smasher article guidelines to see how results tables should be formatted. |

Really appreciate the help in updating tournaments and Smasher pages. Just a quick thing, we only record characters that were used to help win a set. I do believe ScAtt used Mega Man throughout the playoffs at Maji Invitational, but since he didn't win any of the sets (and afaik, he used all Snake during pools), we don't include Mega Man. Cookies

Notable player tournaments and wins[edit]
Something to take note of: try not to add too many tournaments and player wins to these sections. I usually do at most 5 tournaments and 3 wins. CookiesCreme 21:37, September 5, 2021 (EDT)
A few things[edit]
First, for the "Most historically significant players" sections, please bring potential candidates to the talk page first and, if the consensus agrees, then add them to the section.
