User talk:Coonfoot
Hi there![edit]
Welcome to our wiki, and thank you for your contributions! There's a lot to do around here, so I hope you'll stay with us and make many more improvements.
- Read this first as it provides many great resources designed to help users get oriented with the wiki and become part of the community.
- Visit the recent changes to see what other people are editing right this minute, and where you can help.
- Questions? You can ask at the help desk or on the "discussion" page associated with each article, or post a message on my talk page!
- Need help? The community portal has an outline of the site, and pages to help you learn how to edit.
I'm really happy to have you here, and look forward to working with you!
Just a reminder[edit]
It's not a huge problem yet, but you've made three edits to your The Next Melee page in a row. Just don't get carried away so you won't be put on probation :P
Also, what exactly is the freedom you want from your own page that Dream doesn't have? (Besides, obviously, the fact that your Inkling is probably gonna be different from mine) I don't really care, but I am a little curious :P ---Preceding unsigned comment added by you. - Sorry, every time I finished an edit, I remembered that I forgot something and had to add it right afterwards. I'll take a break now if this is going to be a problem. Just tell me when I should take breaks and how long those breaks should be.
- As for what freedom I want, it's pretty much just what you said. Some characters I had ideas for were already claimed by other users on other pages, but with ideas different from my own. Rather than mess around with their hard work, I'm just keeping my separate ideas in my own little corner of the Wiki. However, as a compromise, I can make Project Dream pages for characters (and stages) that haven't been claimed yet that can also double as The Next Melee content. Does that sound good? - You don't really need to take breaks from editing userspace pages so long as you make a bunch of mainspace edits in between. I like to make 1 userspace edit for every 10 mainspace edits. Just remember that the primary focus of Smashwiki is working on mainspace content. John PK SMAAAASH!! 17:27, 14 January 2016 (EST)
- Okay, I'll try to remember that. Coonfoot (talk) 17:29, 14 January 2016 (EST)
- What John said :P And if you want to submit it to Project Dream that's fine, I won't force you and there's no real reason why you should :P I just wanted to know what the logic was, and that makes perfect sense :P ---Preceding unsigned comment added by you. (Reset indent) @Nutta, I previously asked Nyargle a similar question, so something like this doesn't really surprise me.
@Coonfoot, please remember to sign your comments. Aidan, the Wandering Space Warrior 18:02, 14 January 2016 (EST)
- I've actually been signing all my comments this whole time. I've been adding four tildes at the end of every single one. Is there something I'm doing wrong to make you all not see it? Because I can see my signature just fine on my end. Coonfoot (talk) 18:07, 14 January 2016 (EST)
- There's no signature after "Alright, thanks for letting me know all this." ---Preceding unsigned comment added by you. Or maybe DatNuttyKid. 18:16, 14 January 2016 (EST)
