Smasher pages[edit]

According to SW:SMASHER, besides infobox smasher and opening paragraph. Tournament placings and categories are also essential upon creation. Missing one of these requirements the page might be deemed as a low effort article and thus marked with speedy deletion. Another thing is that the "Smasher" namespace should be used for smasher articles, which means you should have "Smasher:" and then the player tag in the url. Grand Dad.png NPM Morr!? Sorry, I Started this then left it but am now going to resume it. How do I change the URL by the way? Commandgreninja (talk) 14:48, July 20, 2022 (EDT)
You should make sure the url for example have "Smasher:TheMintyOne", and technically the preview button is your "temporary save button" so you don't have to rush pages really. Or if you still feel unsafe about it, you can always just make a draft in your userspace, something like "User:Commandgreninja/Smasher:(insert tag)". Grand Dad.png NPM Morr!? DeVi[edit]

Hi, I noticed you remove the birth date information from DeVi's page, can you verify with me that was done on her behalf? Omega Tyrant TyranitarMS.png 09:43, April 6, 2023 (EDT)

Yeah, she messaged me asking to remove it. Idk how to prove this here but feel free to message me on discord at Command#2525 Commandgreninja (talk) 22:26, April 18, 2023 (EDT)
Don't know if we have any mutual servers, so you should join the SmashWiki discord server and DM me there. Omega Tyrant TyranitarMS.png 18:44, April 18, 2023 (EDT)

A heads up[edit]

Hi, we recently decided that with results on Smasher pages, we want to start listing the amount of entrants each tournament had in addition to the player's placement. Refer to our guidelines for how it should be formatted. Any results you add to the wiki from now on should abide to this, even if it's not consistent with preexisting results on the page (though we would also appreciate people fixing this for already listed results too, since it's work that cannot be relegated to bots). Also the player's placement and the tournament's entrant count should be spaced apart for better readability, as demonstrated in the linked guidelines, and Smasher pages need to be created in the Smasher space, not the main space. I have additionally tagged JimJam's page for notability, I'm giving you a chance to argue his notability before the article is deleted (or optionally moved into your user space if you wish, so that you can continue to work on it and move it back into the Smasher space if he becomes notable enough in the future). After defeating 13th in the UK, Tigerton, JJ has received huge notoriety, similar to that of the Pythra player Matilda. This was a huge deal in the UK Smash Scene and he is being closely watched by many of the UK scene as an incredible upcoming prodigy, especially with his surprisingly young age.
