The Skill parameter has been removed from Smasher infoboxes, and in its place are the new "Best historical ranking" and "Best tournament result" parameters. SmashWiki needs help adding these new parameters to Smasher infoboxes, refer to the guidelines here for what should be included in these new parameters. |
When adding results to Smasher pages, include each tournament's entrant number in addition to the player's placement, and use the {{Trn}} template with the matching game specified. Please also fix old results on Smasher pages that do not abide to this standard. Refer to our Smasher article guidelines to see how results tables should be formatted. |

Additional Categories[edit]
I was previously working on my own to-do list, but given that your list seems to be much more efficiently laid out I believe it is better to merge mine into yours. I have done so by erasing the sections on my end which are redundant, but in doing so I noted that I have a task on my to-do list for changing the licensing on Category: Fair use files. Should I add that task and the list that comes with it into your list, or keep it separate? DekZek 01:04, September 26, 2020 (EDT)
- I didn't even see this, whoops. Go ahead and merge if you haven't already. Trig - 12:54, December 30, 2020 (EST)
Improperly categorized work[edit]
Hi there! Do you think something like "Improperly categorized work" should be mentioned some where? There are a few occasions where that happened such as Category:American tournaments and Category:Public domain files you can easily see some images only have the public domain category. And many Smasher images has yet to be cleaned up tho thats part of Smasher pages clean up I guess. I know it is hard to keep track of these stuff as we can only mostly come across them by random but I feel like the amount of images that yet to have accurate categories could be significant. - Doesn't sound like a bad idea. Maybe name it "Category cleanup"? Something more general, that way if it is determined that a lot of stuff in a category needs something else (such as add fighter universes or add specific tournament categories) it can be listed. --CanvasK (talk) 09:43, August 18, 2021 (EDT)
