SmashWiki needs help adding these new parameters to Smasher infoboxes, refer to the guidelines here for what should be included in these new parameters. |
| When adding results to Smasher pages, include each tournament's entrant number in addition to the player's placement, and use the {{Trn}} template with the matching game specified. Please also fix old results on Smasher pages that do not abide to this standard. Refer to our Smasher article guidelines to see how results tables should be formatted. |

When creating smasher articles, be sure to create them in an acceptable state first, instead of creating the article in a bare bones manner and then adding to it later, as otherwise it can be construed as creating a low effort article and you'll risk it getting deleted while you're working on it (I was considering deleting it immediately when I saw it shortly after you created it, but decided to wait a bit to see if you were adding more). Alternatively, you can create an article as a draft in your userspace and then work on it there at your leisure, while moving it to the main space after it's brought up to par.
Also be sure to preview your edits instead of doing a bunch of minor edits in rapid succession to the same page, so as to not clog the recent changes and the page's history with excess minor edits that could have been condensed into a single edit or two. Omega Tyrant

A heads up[edit]
Hi, we recently decided that with results on Smasher pages, we want to start listing the amount of entrants each tournament had in addition to the player's placement, as well as denote majors by bold text and supermajors by bold + italic text. Refer to our guidelines for how it should be formatted. Any results you add to the wiki from now should abide to this, even if it's currently inconsistent with how the rest of the results on someone's page is displayed (though we would also appreciate people doing this for already listed results too, since it's work that cannot be relegated to bots).
