Game list/history[edit]
I am not currently a fan of rating games with a single number. Instead, they have categories, each ranked out of 5.
- Internal - A 1 would have ugly graphics, poor mechanics, critical bugs, or other such technical flaws. A 5 would have impressive graphics, crisp mechanics, and perfect stability. Attempts to take age of game into question.
- External - A 1 would have poor story (relative to genre), forgettable soundtrack, lack of content, or other such subjective problems. A 5 would have an immersive universe, a powerful soundtrack, and a bevy of content.
- Novelty - A 1 would have been no fun to play when first picked up, and have no incentive to continue. A 5 would have been engrossing to start with.
- Nostalgia - A 1 is unappealing to play again. A 5 is irresistable to return to. Typically implies "after getting 100%, is this worth playing again".
Games that I don't own (e.g. were rented, belong to someone else in the family) have an asterisk in the system column; games I haven't played much may have blanks.
