Notices
The Skill parameter has been removed from Smasher infoboxes, and in its place are the new "Best historical ranking" and "Best tournament result" parameters. SmashWiki needs help adding these new parameters to Smasher infoboxes, refer to the guidelines here for what should be included in these new parameters.
When adding results to Smasher pages, include each tournament's entrant number in addition to the player's placement, and use the {{Trn}} template with the matching game specified. Please also fix old results on Smasher pages that do not abide to this standard. Refer to our Smasher article guidelines to see how results tables should be formatted.
Check out our project page for ongoing projects that SmashWiki needs help with.

Stuff happened on the Discord and now I feel compelled to write down something that's been fermenting in my mind for several years.

Currency Known denominations Value Rationale Notes/Problems
Dollar 0.01, 0.05, 0.1, 0.25, 0.5, 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, potentially higher Base currency for convenience purposes.
Tap (Smash G) 1, 3, 5, 6, 10 $0.01 Would make SSB4 trophies worth $3-$25. Max money in SSBM would be a penny short of $10, while for Brawl it'd be one short of $100. Master Orders cost from $0.50-$10. Crazy Passes would be worth $50. Max time in Trophy Rush would be $20. Intensity 9.0 costs $22.
Mushroom Coin 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 50, 100 $1 Feels fair for most of the item prices in the Paper Mario games. Would make 2D 1-Ups worth $100 and 3D 1-Ups worth $50. Power Stars are worth $100 while Party Stars are worth $20. Lategame RPG gear is a bit ridiculous (but can that be helped?).
Haunted G 1, 5, 20, 5k, 20k, 50k, 100k, 500k, 800k, 1m, 2m, 20m ??? Inconsistent between haunted mansions. Wouldn't be surprised to find out it's like leprechaun gold (disappears in the morning without a trace).
Beanbean Coin 1 ??? The rate is claimed to be 10:1 at one point but 1,010,101,010,101:1 at another point (that's a trillion). Given the characters involved, legitimacy of these claims is questionable, and the bros probably got conned.
Rupee 1, 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 200, 300, -10, -50 $1 Feels fair for many item prices. $80 for a Hylian Shield seems pretty cheap. Rito postage is $5 at minimum. Tingle demands almost $400 per Triforce Chart.
