The Cross (クロス, Cross) series is a line of tactical role-playing video games by Bandai Namco that unites characters from various video game franchises. The first game, Namco Super Wars, was developed by Namco and published by Bandai and only featured characters from Namco. While never receiving a direct sequel, the game was succeeded by similar tactical RPGs developed by Monolith Soft and published Namco (later Bandai Namco); the first being Namco × Capcom, which also featured Capcom characters, and the second being the Project X Zone duology, which added Sega characters to the mix, as well as a few characters from Nintendo in the sequel.
