Grey	!		2P (Commercial Costume: F-Zero X CM)	Resembles Captain Falcon in the Japanese commercial for F-Zero X.
Red	R		3P & Red Team (Blood Falcon Colors: F-Zero X 64)	Based on the appearance of his clone and rival Blood Falcon from F-Zero X on the Nintendo 64.
White			4P	No official title given, but seems to be based on the same colors as Jody Summers's outfit in F-Zero X.
Green	G	—	Green Team	Resembles the colors of Pico's F-Zero machine, Wild Goose, in F-Zero.
Blue	B	—	Blue Team	An alternate, brighter version of his standard colors that resembles his appearance in original F-Zero SNES boxart.

Indigo		Based on his appearance from F-Zero X.
Black		Based on the colors of his outfit from the Japanese F-Zero X commercial.
Red	R	Based on Falcon's rival, Blood Falcon's outfit, even altering the logo on his back to say "Blood Hawk". Betas for the game show that it was originally intended to read "Hell Hawk", the Japanese name of Blood Falcon's F-Zero machine.
White		Based on the colors of Jody Summer's outfit. Commonly known as "Captain Fabulous" in the community.
Green	G	Based on the colors of Pico's outfit.
Blue	B	Based on the original, lighter colors of Captain Falcon in F-Zero.

Black		Resembles his costume from the F-Zero X Expansion Kit, as well as a Japanese commercial for F-Zero X.
Red	R	Identical to Blood Falcon's outfit; even the writing on his back changes to say "Blood Hawk", Blood Falcon's F-Zero machine, and the costume also includes a skull design around the lettering.
Green	G	Resembles the color scheme of the Wild Goose, Pico's F-Zero machine.
Blue	B	Resembles his original F-Zero series appearances, with a more vibrant blue coloration.
White		Resembles Jody Summer's outfit.

Black	Resembles his outfit in a Japanese commercial for F-Zero X.
Red	Based on Blood Falcon's outfit from F-Zero X. Changes the logo on the suit's back to a skull with "Blood Hawk" written underneath, a reference to Blood Falcon's vehicle.
