Prologue
It was the perfect plan...
The most powerful, talented, and iconic beings in the universes, together, here, in a world of my own creation, proving their worth in a series of 'Tournaments'...
Many gathered from across the dimension, Heroes and Villains alike, all wanting one thing: Glory.
The glory of proving themselves to foreign legends, and of bringing down familiar rivals...
for nine years I watched, hidden behind my marionettes, the Hands, as twelve grew to twenty-five, as twenty-five grew to fifty-one, as five abandoned the fight...
To the forty-six remaining, never did a shadow of doubt or suspicion arise...
The perfect time to spring the trap...
With all of the legends in one spot, it should have been simple to defeat them in one sweeping onslaught...
And with them gone, how simple it would be to conquer every last one of these pitiful universes...
Using my false army, I lured them all to my own universe, known as subspace...
Although they fought valiantly to get to this point, it was all just a setup...
And I destroyed the gullible idiots with a final, crushing blow...
never could I have foreseen that devious monarch from the Universe of Dreams and his brooches of revival...
As they were revived, one by one, i knew that I had to finish them immediately, or else risk a loss...
As I prepared my Off Waves a final time, a being from the Universe of the Emeralds destroyed my weapon in a streak of blue light...
Greatly weakened, I fled into a maze, which the beings navigated with ease...
With nowhere to run, I fought with all of the energy I had left, nearly defeating my forty-six adversaries...
but I fell short, and was defeated.
With no power, no energy, and no physical form, I hid, analyzing these emmisaries and finding their weaknesses...
And now, with the power of vendetta on my side, I find a weak-minded fool to carry out my plans for me...
