Dopamine is a meme on r/gamindustri, formed by Niotcifnaf, MHStarCraft, Akira Kurusu, Necco, and SG43. It is considered the sequel of tech skill.
History[edit]
On one long Tuesday night on September 19, 2017, MHStarCraft, Niot, Necco, and SG43 got on the voice chat to talk about Xander jokes. Akira then joined in and they switched the topic to Niot's phone problems. MHStarCraft mentions about how sleeping problems these days are caused by phones, mentioning Milesthumbs sleeping problems, which Akira then says that Dopamine is the cause of sleeping problems and that they are in phones.
The Dopamine initially became an inside joke between the five initial voice chatters and then they took it on #general-talk. As a result, people on the server eventually gone along with it as funny. The voice chat grew from 5 to 11 and there was much laughter whenever Dopamine was mentioned. The server eventually took it to the actual reddit subpage of r/gamindustri which garnered a huge amount of downvotes, especially from probably Xander no less. The admin, WillTheYordle, got tired of this so he went to the discord server to get to the bottom of this. Surprisingly, when he got on the voice chat to talk this out with us, WillTheYordle showed his welcoming of the Dopamine meme (no pun intended), so everything worked out in the end.
Aftermath[edit]
Dopamine eventually died out by the end of the day, but it will still live on as a great memory in the discord server. Most participants of the Dopamine unironically went to bed late.

Mythology gags[edit]
There are some similarities to the former tech skill meme.
- Both probably all started when MHStarCraft mentioned that people were mentioning problems with a certain user.
- This all started on a chat server.
- Dark Sins mentions that the "Wii U's have dopamine dispensers," similar to how Nintendo in general lacks tech skill.
- An admin disapproves at the meme and attacked the meme producers.
- Niot's phone has all of the dopamine similar to how Starban has all of the tech skill.
