Herson
Hi, my name is Herson. I am a relatively new member of Smashwiki, and I'm trying my best to improve it. My editing skills aren't the best, as I don't get the more complex stuff like those cell panel.. list... things... *ahem* but I'll do my best.
History with Smash Bros
My Smash Bros experience started in 2011 when I went to GameStop to see what games I could find for my Wii (ok, you know where this is going), when I found this cool looking game called Super Smash Bros. Brawl. I read the back of the box and decide to buy it. It was a used copy for $40, and in near-perfect condition. After that, I played it for a couple years, and in that time, unlocked all characters and stages, collected countless trophies and stickers, 100%'d the Subspace Emissary, made 15 custom stages, took over 100 screenshots, and gained most of my current Nintendo knowledge (like the fact that Samus was NOT a robot) from that one beautiful game. Unfortunately, there came the day where my Wii broke down from age, and never played Smash afterwards...
UNTIL... It was late 2014, I was on YouTube looking through the inbox for vids. I saw some from at least 3 of my subscriptions about a trailer for Smash 4. I watched in absolute joy since the game I loved in my tween years was returning for a 4th iteration. At that point, i found this wiki and stuck to it. Of course, I checked for and watched all the trailers the YouTube celebs shared for their subscribers, for characters, stages, and modes, and gameplay videos once it was released. One trailer, though, made me say "I have I get this". It revealed exactly what I, and many others, have wanted since Brawl...
Miis.
And they didn't just give us Miis as a smasher. They give us THREE TYPES! How glorious!!!
Right Now
I've had Smash 3DS since April 16, 2015, and I've gotten pretty good at it in the span of over a year. Progress-wide, I have every non-DLC character and stage, and beaten Classic and All-Star Mode with everyone. The only DLC I do have is Dream Land 64, Hyrule Castle 64, the Heihachi outfit, and the Inkling outfit.

Trivia
- Like plenty of people here, I enjoy trivial facts because they are so interesting. If I find or think of one, I'll add it right away... unless I have doubts, in which case I'll debate among myself for a while before I edit (or don't). I also post actually, more useful information.
- Like I said before, the Miis were the main reason I want Smash 4. Before getting the game, I already worked out who would be Brawlers, Swordfighters, and Gunners. Heck, I even knew what special moves and outfits they would sport.
- Miis aside, the most surprising reveal to me was PAC-MAN's trailer, even more so than Mewtwo's return.
- When there was the whole "Ridley in Smash 4" debate, I was on the side that said he wasn't too big. My piece of evidence: Melee's intro.
- Along with Brawl, I played a lot of Mario Kart Wii. I eventually got so skilled that I could only find a real challenge in Online multiplayer. My "main" was Mario on the Super Blooper. I stopped when Nintendo shut down online service for the Wii. At that point, I held the Time Trials world record for Rainbow Road which, BTW, I mastered not falling off once in intense Online races. I also played other games like Super Mario Galaxy 2, New Super Mario Bros. Wii, the original Sonic All-Stars Racing, and the always enjoyable Wii Sports.
- I have not played a single The Legend of Zelda game, and feel a little guilty for it. My first Pokemon game was Pokemon Rumble World, if that even counts...
- Aside from Nintendo, I play GTA V, Destiny (lvl 30 Hunter), Slender, Five Nights at Freddy's (those two being the main reason I fear the dark), Yume Nikki, Cards Against Humanity, and various lesser-know franchises and games.
