Hello, this is the 2nd Recovery Tier List for Melee and this time, it's more accurate (I hope), and plenty of changes have occured. Many people have been arguing about the fact of Yoshi was in good tier so Yoshi moved down a little bit. Yoshi's recovery is somewhat good but if you gimp or edgeguard him, he pretty much fails to get back up. This list was made June 6, 2010 by me, Doc King. So enjoy the list and comment!!!!! Also please don't delete the 1st recovery tier list!

Now here are the reasons for the changes!

Character Movement Reason
Jigglypuff 0 She still has the best recovery due to her rising pound and 5 midair jumps.
Samus +1 Samus's recovery has helped more in tourney play then Peach and it's harder to edge guard Samus then Peach.
Peach -1 Easier to Spike then Samus and recovery is slow.
Link +1 Link still has a very good recovery with a bunch of choices and strateges.
Mewtwo +2 Due to the floatiness and double jump, Mewtwo has proven to have a good recovery.
Pichu +2 Pichu still has a good recovery and plenty of choices.
Pikachu +2 The same recovery as Pichu, just no Wall jump.
Ganondorf -2 Due to some predictable recovery and some what limited choices, Ganon has decreased a bit. However his horizontal recovery is still really good and it's still really useful in tourney play.
C.Falcon +2 Silentspectre still proves that his recovery is good and it has been uses in tourney a lot and helped a lot.
Zelda -6 Due to the difficulty of switching between Zelda and Sheik and having a difficult time recovering in tourney has moved Zelda down a lot. She still has a lot of choices and good range.
Fox -1 Due to the firefox being quite slow and being edge guarded very easy, Fox has moved down to Good Tier. Also his firefox can be caped or supersheeted, which makes his firefox almost useless against certain foes.
Luigi +1 Even though his recovery is some what based on luck, his range is excellent. It's just that he can't move diagonally which makes his recovery hard in some ways.
Mario +1 Still has an infinite wall recovery and a decent regular recovery.
Ice Climbers +2 due to the excellent side b horizontal recovery and the excellent up b vertical recovery, the Ice Climbers are almost umstoppable with their recovery, but sadly, they're only in Good Tier because without Nana, Popo is screwed when it comes to recovery.
Kirby +2 5 midair jumps and a good vertical recovery gets him up on the list and if you copy Mewtwo's neutral b, you can gain a lot of horizontal distance.
Mr. Game & Watch -4 Due to a very limited recovery, G&W has decreaced.
Young Link +6 The biggest improvement since the first list! Thanks to his awesome wall recovery and good choices.
Marth +4 Has a good vertical recovery and floatiness that helps him recover.
Yoshi -1 Many people have been arguing over the fact that he was on Good Tier in the first list and many people found him as a Bad Tier character. Turns out his recovery is Good in terms of verticle and horizontal range, but, his recovery is Bad in terms of choices and gimping and edge guarding situations. So now he ends up in Ok Tier and moved down because of the gimping situations and limited choices.
DK -1 Due to the bad vertical recovery and limited choices, DK moves down to Ok Tier.
Falco +3 Due to the good choices and decent side b, Falco has improved a bit.
Roy -7 The biggest decrease and the biggest change since the first list!! Due to being easily gimped by Fox and having a some what limited recovery, Roy has decreased by a lot since the first list.
Ness -3 Disimproved mainly because of the hard Projectile recovery and the fact that any one can easily ruin his up b recovery by hitting the thunder bolt. Also disimproved because of the limited choices he has.
Bowser -3 He went down to Limited Tier because of the terrible vertical recovery and very limited choices. The only thing Good is his horizontal recovery, but that's only good, not great.
Dr. Mario 0 Doc sadly still has the worst recovery because of his extreamly terrible horizontal and vertical recoveries, limited choices (however more then Bowser but still pretty limited. He can also be gimped, edge guarded, and edge hogged pretty easy. So in conclusion, Doc sadly has the worst recovery in the game.
