The Skill parameter has been removed from Smasher infoboxes, and in its place are the new "Best historical ranking" and "Best tournament result" parameters. SmashWiki needs help adding these new parameters to Smasher infoboxes, refer to the guidelines here for what should be included in these new parameters. |
When adding results to Smasher pages, include each tournament's entrant number in addition to the player's placement, and use the {{Trn}} template with the matching game specified. Please also fix old results on Smasher pages that do not abide to this standard. Refer to our Smasher article guidelines to see how results tables should be formatted. |

SchuStats is an alternative algorithmic ranking created and ran by Schu. The rankings primarily ranks the top 100 best players of a character and the top 100 best players in each region, with the time period for each ranking spanning either a month or a few months. In addition, SchuStats has released several results-based tier lists and a "live" all-time ranking, both of which uses Schu's algorithm.
Schu was sponsored by Luminosity Gaming in January 2025, and therefore many of his releases since then have been with the organization. However, the rankings remain separate from LumiRank, the primary rankings used by the community and which is also associated with Luminosity Gaming.
Algorithm[edit]
Source
The SchuStats algorithm has gone through several updates over-time, with the current version being version 3. The algorithm is based on the Bradley–Terry model, with a few adjustments to better suit competitive-Ultimate.
The algorithm's goal is to calculate a player's current performance based on past results.
