Darth Paine is the leader of the ultraverse. Long ago, he was a double agent jedi who inherited sith powers, but retired from the order when the ultraverse came into alignment with the Star Wars universe. At this time, the ultraverse was uninhabited, so Darth Paine began recruiting different people to build up the ultraverse.
In the Super Smash Bros. Series[edit]
Darth Paine appears as the final boss of Brawl 4. He can use any attack of any strategy from any character from the Brawl 4 roster, but is only able to use a single ability at a time. Darth Paine is also able to use attacks of his own, such as a lightsaber and force lightning, which are the only attacks that can hit through Connery's invincibility. While immensely powerful, he is theoretically not unbeatable, as he an be hit by one of Starban's OHKO attacks or be KOed via standard methods while not using Connery's invincibility. Unfortunately, the game must be completed with every character to fight Darth Paine, and it is impossible to do so with Connery, as he cannot be unlocked. Thus, Darth Paine's appearance is a mystery.
